LaCrosse Café — Restaurant in La Crosse

Looked at a house in Lacrosse today. Decided to stop into the Cafe to grt a little food before the ride back across the Pass. The food was 10/10. (That rodeo burger...mmmmmm). The coffee was so great, it is easy to drink straight black. We went to go pay and leave and someone in the Cafe paid for our meal. THEN we were given a carton of milk since they bought too many and a free cup of coffee for the road. THAT is what you call hospitality. If we end up moving anywhere close to Lacrosse, we'll be going back to the the Cafe without question. If i could give 10 out of 5 stars, I would. Love the town, love the food,...

This is an old-fashioned cafe with everything appears to have stepped out of the '40's. The food was delicious. Nothing fancy - just good. The lady that owns the cafe kept it open, for our dear friends who live in LaCrosse. She was gracious and accommodating, and treated us like royalty. We appreciate her, and the kindness...
