Whataburger — Restaurant in La Grange

This is Absolutely the worst franchise I've ever been to. From grilled cheese sandwiches burnt blacker than Kingsford charcoal, to coming to the store to pick up my online order 15 minutes after it was placed, and the fish isn't even dropped yet, to bungling multiple orders...this unfriendly staff could care less about quality or customer satisfaction. And as I always say, every store has a unique culture that flows from none other than the franchise owner. I think the investment group who purchased this brand needs to really take a look at the absolutely horrible customer experience in Lagrange, TX. I've had a gut full. Whataburger Inc needs to figure something out and I will be on the phone to Illinois Wednesday. This is garbage.

The whole point of ordering online is so the food is ready to go when you get there!!! Eliminating the wait time and a bunch of disgruntled customers glaring around and criticizing performance in the store. It's supposed to be 4-7 minutes from the time the order is placed. And to get there 20 minutes after placing the order (in a time crunch) and they have to look at the computer and find out what the order is frustrating at best. Meanwhile, there's a person or two standing around singing "one, two, buckle my shoe" instead of getting what they can together and at least having the decency to inform the customer of the additional wait time since they haven't even started the online order nearly 30 minutes after the fact. Lagrange must be an entire city on the spectrum. It's A....

This is my first ever review and I feel like people need to know to avoid this location if you want to continue to have a great day. The General Manager there is extremely rude and does not know how to delegate his employees. When I got my order from the wonderful staff I noticed my fries were soggy and cold. I don’t normally complain about my food and would normally suck it up but these were just unacceptable. I waited in line and when it was my turn I asked the General Manager if I could have my fries cooked longer or replaced. Before I could even finish my request he rolls his eyes and snatches the fries out my hand. He then aggressively throws them into the trash. He dumps out fries that were sitting in the heater and grabs a large and throws it into a bag and shoves the bag in my hand. I thought it may be a one off thing but he continues to throw people trays on their tables and walk away with an attitude; not even offering condiments. I understand a lunch rush was just starting but that does not give this boy the authority to treat his customers and employees the way he did. I would have expected this behavior from a teen employee. Not a General Manager. If you see the Caucasian boy with a beard, glasses, bald, has a general manager tag; don’t even bother trying...

Went to this location at almost 2 a.m. on our way to Kalahari Resort and was blown away from this restaurant. I can say that the cashier they had was the probably the best customer service I could have honestly encountered in my life!!!! Didn't get his name, but he has the voice of a guy that could be on tv/radio doing ads. Very polite and professional. Detailed to a "T", asking for all condiments and or utensils you may need to enjoy your meal and cup holders if needed. As far as the food goes, the best I've had from a Whataburger restaurant. The wife and kids are picky about their fries and they were freshly cooked. Our burgers were hot and fresh like it was literally taken right off the grill and wrapped up and given to us. My wife ordered the Hot & spicy Whataburger biscuit meal and she was happy with it. Fresh biscuit and hot chicken. This is the 1st restaurant I have left a google review about I believe 😆. So for me to wake up and it was still on our mind says alot. Especially with the kids ready to go enjoy a Waterpark. They've asked if we can go back to that location on our way back to Rosenberg.
