Hank's Smokehouse — Restaurant in LaFayette

We went through the drive through tonight and I ordered Killer chicken Potato and I got to the window and the young man so politely said I’m sorry Ma’am we are out of potatoes and I didn’t know it, what would you like? So the Owner came to the window and I had to change my order and which I had my heart set on a potato she was the sweetest Lady and so apologetic , she comped my Kids Meal and my Meal and I paid for the rest! This right here is what WINS A person over for a restaurant business it’s called GREAT SERVICE AND ATTITUDE!! She was so sorry about it - but let me tell you hands down! Their BEEF BBQ sandwich was amazing and was smoked so good and I am picky about my bbq lol! The kids had Philly cheesesteaks and they eat them everywhere we go and they said it was the BEST ones They had ever had!! If you haven’t been here please Try Hanks Smokehouse it is so good for our Community and I am so happy they are here with us Good food and Different variety’s and the Prices are reasonable too! Give them a try you won’t be disappointed and I will be back for my POTATO 🩷🙌😂 Congrats to you guys well deserved and a Beautiful Building I hope God blesses you over and over !

I ate it too fast to even take a picture. To say I’m picky is an understatement, and this place had not one flaw!! The food was DELICIOUS! Pricing was SO CHEAP, the building was GORGEOUS, the outside seating was so country modern, so gorgeous . The staff was SO friendly, and the owners Cassie and Hank were so kind and welcoming! The portions were HUGE, I got the killer potato with coleslaw, the potato was one of those huge ones, and however they cooked it, not one bite was dry, it was so good. First visit. Drive thru carry out. Saturday around 1. One car in parking lot. No one in drive thru. Waited almost 5 minutes before someone answered. Regular pork sandwich combo. $10. Not a very big portion of meat, on a small bun. Dripping in sauce, meat dry. All could taste is sauce. Krinkle fries regular size plentiful, but greasy, limp. Just ok, I've had better and worse.
