Lance's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in LaFayette

First off, the pizzas were delicious - both myself and my picky as hell kiddos were both happy which is practically a miracle in itself.

Secondly, and maybe even more impressive, was the service- we moved to Dover a few months ago and this was our first time ordering from them (they were only doing carry out) but I failed to look outside and see that everything had iced over. I'm from South TX, I can't drive in that and I know I can't so I don't even try. I called Lances back to let them know I wouldn't be able to make it in and to pay over the phone (figuring they could at least give it away or give it to staff if anyone wanted it) and was informed that the owner was going to run out order to us. Not only did this gentleman bring it to our door in less than 20min, he threw in a free 2 liter of soda with the assurance that he didn't want us going back out for anything.

Normally we get great food from this place. This is our first bad experience. First off, the salad wasn't like the previous salads. Even had a hard thing in it. And wow, got one pound of hot wings and an Italian salad, got one pack of crackers for a salad that feeds two to three persons. The wings weren't up to their standards either. Had broken pieces and one even had a strip of plastic on it. We hope next time, the food will be what we've come to expect from Lance's. Updated 5/28/23 So done. No crackers, no dressing for salad, no red pepper, & no parmesan cheese. And we did this for our date night. Date nights are few for us, so this was a big deal to us. We were to have a relaxing date night with Lance's Pizza delivery and John Wick 4. I even gave 10$ tip. Never again. Done done done. Stocking up on my ingredients to make homemade pizzas from now on. Would give zero stars if I could and update your menus section online. I had not tried lances since I lived in Carlisle back in 97-98 many yrs ago and ate all the time at TN Ridge location. So after moving back (2023) to Dover thought we would give Dover a shot .....I can assure I will not make that mistake again. A large thin crust Hawaiian and a large chicken bacon ranch pizza (very little toppings) with bread sticks 12 (very small ones) and a 2 liter Dr pepper that was a meal deal online for 30 something now my bank is showing 52 dollars....this after being put on hold 4 times to a total of 47mins to order this nonsense. Not what I was told the price was at pickup $40 something so is there a $10 tip I did not know about? or a charge for debit card? I assure you I will go get Pauls Pizza, twice as much food and out the door for $44 bucks .. you won't get a chance to ruin someone Sunday...
