Lets see - where do I begin. This was my first time there and had been wanting to try for quite some time. I asked my boss if she wanted to try it for lunch today, and she said sure - lets try it, as she had never been there either. We get there right at opening (11:00), went up to the counter to order (which is a little weird), but ok. Music was obnoxiously loud and could barely hear the cashier/order taker, but she did turn it down some, thankfully. We placed our order and on the receipt, it asks for a tip. Why? We havent had any service yet. Thats not cool. But left a tip regardless. Whatever the case, we find a table and sit. I had water and it definitely is not filtered. It had a strong chlorinated taste, but thats all I drink, so had no choice. The floor was extremely sticky. The music seemed like it got louder, or we were sitting near a speaker, and it was hard to hear each other talking. Looking around, it was really dirty. Surprisingly. I was a tad shocked since it just opened for lunch. We sat and waited for our food. And waited, And saw others getting their food, who came in after us. After about 25 minutes, I got up to inquire and they said that it was coming out and that they had a "big" order right before ours. Thats pretty impossible since we were the first to order and EVERYONE who came in AFTER us, was eating. They bring out the order and I'm like, "whats that"? He said "you didn't order a double meat burger"? Uh NO. So he brought it to the back and I got up again, to tell them exactly what they did wrong. Not sure if it was a manager or not, but he said that they were cooking it again....Wait, what?? Now we have to wait even longer??? (hadn't eaten yet and had to be back at work for 12:00 and its now 11:30) One of the crew members just simply said "we messed up". Yeah, you did. Thank you for acknowlding that. They bring out the sides that we ordered, while still waiting on the main dish. Order was very simple. A hamburger patty with a side of cucumbers and hamburger with only cheese and onion rings. Not a hard order to mess up. Right? Wrong. The "manager" comes over again and apologizes and gives my boss a gift card for the screw up and lays the blame on the cashier and how she didn't ring it up right. Don't know whos right or wrong, but, regardless, I think its wrong for a manager to deflect the blame off yourself and lay it on an employee. He asked if there was anything else we needed, like a drink (alcohol) or anything at all, and I grabbed the nasty salt shaker (with a napkin) and asked for a clean one. It obviously had not been wiped/cleaned (see pic) in quite some time as it had dried ketchup all over it. He brought another. Ketchup container on the table was empty so had to find another one on another table. We FINALLY received our burgers and they were fresh, but hardly anything that I would return for. The cost of just the burger was just way too much for what was received. There are plenty of other burger places where the burgers are way better and half the cost. There was absolutely NOTHING that I would return for. Guessing that they don't season the hamburgers as they use grilled onions/garlic aoli and that sort of stuff, as the seasoning. Some of us like seasoning in our burgers. (thats just a preference of mine, which of course is subjective) Not sure what draws people in, other than maybe the alcohol, because the service, atmosphere/noise and food is not where its at. I was looking for a new place to go, but sadly, learned the hard way, again, that its best to just keep eating where theres consistency and great service. This is not the place.

I’ve come here three times at this point. Today being my last and FINAL. First incident occurred on 08/13, came here around 12:30 with two friends. We got sat in the main dining area where they decided to have a SAXOPHONE player in this tiny restaurant blaring music. I mean did I come to enjoy a meal or go deaf and not be able to communicate with my guest? We get moved to the very back. We order, 30 mins still waiting, we it read comes back and says “oh, sorry. Somehow your food didn’t get put in”. We didn’t leave til 2. Fast forward to 08/27. We came in with a party of 10. They put tables together in the back, well two separate ones that weren’t even actually back to back to speak to our other friends. As half of us are sitting at one table the manager, proceeds to come to our table after we’ve ordered drinks and tell us “hey can some of y’all move to that table, there are people waiting up front and we don’t usually hold tables” so you set tables for us knowing only half our table we’re here, then proceed to say some of us need to separate to another table because people will get mad that there are open tables????” As I’m sitting here, just in the back, there are SIX open tables. And I don’t care if guest are mad that there are open tables. That’s not my problem as a guest. And that’s not how the restaurant industry works. Just because there are open tables doesn’t mean there is a sever available. I’m absolutely disgusted that this is how they decide to treat their guest with such POOR customer service. I’ve worked in the industry long enough to know this is so unacceptable. It’s places like this in Lafayette that have HORRIBLE service that still survive because they’re...

Tried this place off a recommendation. It’s nice little stop if you are in the area, but a little expensive for what you’re actually getting. A burger, fries, and a salad bowl cost us over $40. The quantities given at this cost are fairly small. We asked for hot sauce for the fries and there was even an up charge for hot sauce lol.

I tried the bacon jam burger. The burger is $12.50 before tax and does not come with fries. So I paid extra for the extremely small side of fries. I would rate the burger 6/10. The onion rings were nearly raw, chewy. The bacon jam (supposed to be the star of the show) was very underwhelming, maybe because the overload of mayo on the burger washed it out. The bacon Jam was nearly unnoticeable, which was a huge disappoint for me.

The salad bowl for my wife had what seemed to be one small chicken strip down the middle. Maybe 4/5 small cut pieces of chicken. Not nearly enough to mix with the other ingredients of the bowl. That said, the chicken, albeit 1/4 a serving, was pretty good.

Random but relevant: If your drink machines are going to be self serve, PLEASE do not put a table for customers to sit 2 feet away from it. Having to squeeze myself between random people and a drink machine while the table stared me down was slightly uncomfortable. Scoot the table a few feet further.

Overall, I might come here again if in the area, but it definitely isn’t...
