The Nest at Grey Hawk — Restaurant in LaGrange Township

Thank you for what you are doing for our veterans. I’m hoping Sheri can work our event. She’s a class favorite and will make our Veterans celebration even better. She’s makes us feel like family. Over 20 of us come every month and come during the week for specials from many of our graduation classes. I need to come early and talk to a Mgr regarding giving me the checks for the veterans. It would be easier for one person to collect them and I will get reimbursed. I know Kevin. Just tell him it’s the woman in the wheelchair, they all know me. We’ll also bringing a couple bouquets of balloons, hopefully camouflage. I know several people are involved putting this together and I am confident this will go seelmlessly as we all work like a family. A table for 10 would be nice for the Veterans and their spouses. It could be the centerpiece and make it easier to decorate and keep appetizers and main courses separate for 2 Payments. You guys are the best in every way. Elyria Catholic thinks so for golf and food. Many of us come for the weekly specials. Yum! Now that I have you to talk to I found out that possibly the Chronicle and the Panther Prowl may want a story next Friday. We can do it but if they want to come I need your approval. If they don’t come the story will still be written along with photos of our Veterans. The steak I ordered wasn't seasoned at all,... it also tasted a bit off. The Brussels were definitely past their due date, and they also were burn, with zero seasoning. The mushrooms and onions were not seasoned either, and nothing was touched with butted,... it tasted like they fried it in vegetable oil. My son liked their chicken tenders, but not the pizza. I was glad, cause I got to at least have some chewy bread with cheese. The waitress seemed nice, but she got my spoiled steak and rottem veggies for me at half price. Would not recommend. My wife and I are new to Wellington and The Nest at Grey Hawk popped up in my Facebook feed. Their weekly dinner/drink specials looked interesting so we decided to check out their "Burger Night" last night. So glad we did! The restaurant had a great atmosphere and a good menu. I had a regular cheeseburger and my wife ordered the Philly Dip. Both were excellent and came with a choice of sides. Draft beers and house wines were also very good. Service was great with Kayla and Donovan taking excellent care of us.

Even in the middle of winter on a Tuesday, there was a nice crowd. Can't wait to see the golf course in the Spring. Next stop......
