Hello Josh Kohne, my name is Kelsey Edwards and I have been the main hostess here at the Adams Lake Pub for the past 7 years. I was the hostess that spoke with you Saturday evening when you came into our restaurant with your two little boys around rush hour. I greeted you with a warm, friendly smile as I always do and asked if you happened to call ahead because we always recommend (not require) reservations. You said you had not, and due to our long list of reservations currently occupying tables, I told you it would be about an hour wait. You continued to point out the open tables we had, which again was due to customers who had called in and reserved a table prior. Annoyed by this, you immediately walked away towards the door as i continued to tell you to have a great evening, as we always are understanding that sometimes with little ones we aren't always able to wait for a wonderful meal.
A common question I am asked is about our dress attire here at the Adams Lake Pub and my response has always been the same, come in whatever you are comfortable in! We stride in providing an exceptional five-star dining experience, but with a family atmosphere as we have been family owned and operated for a decade!
Additionally, our cliental basis in the summer consists immensely of our locals here on the lake who know they can always come straight to the Adams Lake Pub for an exceptional meal after a long day on the lake! And we are so very grateful for their continuing support!
I am extremely proud to be a part of the Adams Lake Pub family, as it both such a privilege and a rarity to find such compassion in the...

Make a reservation, as they get full quickly.
Cleanliness is 10/10 Service is 10/10 Food is 10/10 Drinks are 10/10 Ambiance is 8/10 only because the interior is outdated. I'd rather have 10/10 food than 10/10 ambiance with 7/10 food...
The portions are fairly large, so be advised. We ate an appetizer and bread before our fantastic meals, and barely had room to finish them.
The blackened catfish is outstanding, and even better than when I caught and cooked my own. It is wild-caught catfish and is not over seasoned.
My dish was a bed of long grain wild rice with a large catfish residing atop. Besides it, a loaded baked potato that looks to be from Texas with how massive it is.
Overall, the ambiance is great, though it is indeed outdated. There are a handful of fish tanks that kids and adults love, as well as a nice view from the deck/patio. They have a handful of liquors to pour at reasonable prices.
The main event, for me, is in their fish selections. They are incredibly delicious and fresh. Does not disappoint.
I'm only sad they're not open every day. It is truly a delight...
Read moreThis place is running on former reputation alone. We had a party of 15, upstairs. We had ONE server. She didn't remove the appetizer plates before she started bringing the dinner plates. She didn't keep drink glasses full and was pretty much missing if we need her. I had the ribs. They were disgusting. It looked like they had pressure cooked the ribs and then just poured a bottle of bbq sauce on top of them. They didn't carmelize (glaze) the sauce or anything, just a ½" thick layer of bottled sauce on top of my ribs. 3 of the steaks that were ordered were cold in the middle and no one ordered even a medium rare! The grilled vegetables were cold. And my BAKED potato was definitely not baked... more like steamed. To top it off, they added the tip to the bill. We tip well..... even for lousy service. We probably would have even added more tops to the table if the food and service had warrented it. It didn't. We will not be back. We all drive Amish ppl that used to think this was a great place to go out for anniversaries and other special events... We We will definitely steer them clear of wasting so much money on such...
