Twilligers Tavern — Restaurant in Laingsburg

I have to change my review of this place. Went there with a friend to eat dinner. We ordered our food at about 6:00. We ordered their prime rib and perch. At 8:00 we still hadn't received our order. Meanwhile others that came in after us received their food. We inquired with the wait staff as to the delay. Was told it will be right up. Received our rolls which were warm but rubbery. In mid-delivery another wait staff came up and said the food was for a different table. We were then told that it would take another 20 minutes to get our food. We had enough of this poor service. The wait person wasn't willing to help she just kept saying, "Don't get mad at me". Will not ever consider this place as a place to...

Was visiting family from out of town and wanted to get something for everyone for dinner. I figured why not try Twilligers, havent heard of them before. Well we spent a pretty hefty amount on everyones food and when we came to pick it up, we were missing multiple items and when we took the receipt to get the items that werent given to us, they were snotty and claimed we already picked them up. We are not liars, thieves, or inconsiderate people.. so no, we were really missing some things that we ordered and were met with disrespect when wanting to claim what wasnt given to us. For $70+ i expect to get all that...

Warm beer, slow kitchen,poor service. Why did I go there again? Hate to see it going downhill but will not last if it doesn't improve. Time to invest in some updated decor, train staff to be attentive and upbeat, and focus on providing a more enjoyable experience. Food was ok but the tab didn't seem to match menu pricing and server didn't provide the itemized bill. Service fee added on top of that left me feeling like I was getting cleaned out.
