Yellow Jacket Cafe — Restaurant in Lake City

Not sure where to start. Let’s begin with walked in and was seated by the waitress immediately adjacent to the kitchen window(the vent might need cleaned because this was way too close for comfort). Asked if we could be seated at the front window in the next room and the waitress was hesitant and I could see her starting to get annoyed. She said she had to clean it off but if we wanted to, to go ahead and sit there. Mind you she left the silverware and menus on the first table and never came over to clean our table. There was three of us total and we ordered two burgers and my daughter had chicken tenders. We waited about an hour for food to finally come, and before that we had a couple come in and sit at the table next to us approximately 25 minutes after we had sat down, and they received their food before us. Waitress was not very attentive, and her and the service were rewarded with the appropriate tip. I also noticed in some of the other reviews that they close early for what ever reason. I'm not quite sure about this visit.. I gave a 4 because stuff happens, I know. We, my 17 year old son and his girlfriend, and 16 year old daughter were on our way back from church, decided to eat here we hadn't tried it.. parking was filled, which makes a good impression. Waited for quite some time to be seated and nobody spoke to us to let us know it would be a few to clear the dirty tables. I went for waffles! The waffle maker was broken, out of hash browns.
