Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Lake Crystal

We stopped here for lunch on the way home from Minneapolis since my boyfriend loves Dairy Queen and I love ice cream. The girl at the counter was very friendly and efficient, but that's about the only good thing that I can say. The other guests were all "odd", to put it nicely. My boyfriend received his food about 10 minutes before I got mine and it took about 20 minutes total before mine arrived, even though there were only two other tables of customers there at the time. The menu was not a typical DQ menu, was very limited, and it felt more like a small town, independent drive inn. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it tasted like someone had made a thousand fish sandwiches before that and never changed the oil. We ate and got the heck out of there asap. I went through the drive thru and ordered a 4 piece chicken strip basket and soda pop. It was $10.15. I asked if they had wet naps and they said no, how about some napkins, I said fine. Then I asked for ketchup and they gave me 4 packets and when I asked if I could have the ketchup in a cup they gave me a small styrofoam cup. Their fries and chicken strips were over cooked and hard. Very snotty employees. We went through drive thru and ordered a shake, 2 blizzards, and a hot fudge sundae. The first one was handed out, and I wasn't sure which one it was because we hardly get dairy queen, so I asked. So in a snotty tone, she answered "your shake". Ok whatever. So when the blizzards came out, they didn't do the thing where they are supposed to flip then upside down, because if they had, the entire thing would have fallen out.
