Service was good overall. Our server was attentive, and friendly. Seemed in a rush but he may have been having to serve both inside and outside seating.
Most of our party enjoyed their meals. Some were disappointed.
Of our two orders of bread, one bowl had bread that was clearly old. The crust was rock-hard. (We buy bread regularly from Hewn.) We sent one back and they gave us a much better one.
The beet salad and hummus appetizer were both delicious. Highly recommend either.
There were a number of dishes that were unavailable/sold-out (NY Strip, Mahi Mahi). I can understand as it’s farm to table and I assume they use fresh ingredients. Not a negative mark, just an observation.
The fries for the steak frites, chicken tempura and burger were very thick, and tasted pasty and undercooked. Might have been better to do thinner shoestring fries. Nobody who had fries (5 people) liked them.
One order of steak frites was ordered medium rare and was perfectly cooked. The other was ordered medium well and was burnt on the outside and dry inside. Perhaps a suggestion from the server would have helped my son decide on how to have it prepared.
The burger was very good. Delicious!
The Jambalaya was ok - it could have used more rice.
The ice cream was excellent as was the chocolate mousse flourless cake. The cherries and sauce added a nice tart balance to the chocolate.
Overall I was expecting a better experience.
One of our party is vegan, and there were a few options for him for the appetizers (hummus, beet salad), the only entree was a rigatoni with red sauce. I recommend more creative options for vegetarians/vegans.
We may try it again someday and hopefully will be better and can hopefully update the review.

Read moreMe and my wife made a reservation for Friday night dinner. I was looking forward to a good farm to table meal. The host showed us our table and the server was very nice. Soon to find out that the server have no knowledge of the food or the wine list. I decided not to order wine since the server admitted that he doesn't know what kind of wine to recommend. We started with "real" french onion soup, nothing about it was close to be that. The soup was thin with very little onions, was salty and was thickened with corn starch. The toast on top was not made with baguette, was not toasted a was very soggy. My wife had the pumpkin cream soup which from some reason someone in the farmer kitchen decided to add whole mustard seeds. For seconds we had the tomato and muzarela with balsamic, oddly enough this course come without bread so you need to add money to be able to get bread to eat it. Tomato was fresh and the cheese was very little (not proportional to the tomatoes) We also had the shrimp and grits that came on bed of canned tomatoes sauce with big chunks of garlic.(really ???canned tomatoes???so much to farm to table...). Next was the "glorious" fried chicken stripes that tasted like was taken from KFC play book. Very greasy, heavy and as if not enough the sauce was very thick blue cheese dressing. I was not able to finish it and most of it stayed on the plate. Last was the chocolate mousse cake that came with a string of plastic film that was left by the "pastry chef" inside the cake. Over all very big disappointment and a waist of...
Read moreWe were looking for something lite for me to eat that was not too far from our hotel. The menu items look great. The evening was chilly, so soup as an appetizer would be good. I got the potatoes and leeks soup, I anticipated the soup to be thick since it has potatoes, but it was very thin. The sliced fried leeks topping were tasty, but the soup itself was so-so, couldn't really tasted the potatoes. My zucchini noodles entree was superb, very tasty, and flavorful. The whipped ricotta complimented the dish very well. The zucchini noodles were perfectly cooked. Overall, this dish was 5 stars. However, the added grilled chicken breast had some charred pieces, causing it to be very bitter and dried. My suggestion is no grilled chicken. Shrimp would have been a better option if you want protein added. My husband's steak was over grilled, charred layer was thick, and both sides of the steak were dark and dried. Tough to cut into. He wanted medium rare, instead it was overdone. He ordered the dry aged NY Strip with a side mushrooms. He loved the mixed mushrooms but so disappointed with his steak. Someone in the kitchen didn't pay attention when he or she was cooking the steak. The atmosphere was dark and loud. Service was good. Next time we're in town, we'll visit Everret again for lunch instead of dinner, hoping for a...
