We were visiting the area and came upon a tiny little town called Guffey. We drove the loop of the town and saw a little cabin with a distillery sign and another lodge with a band. We love trying new whiskeys and tequila do we looped and landed at the distillery! The atmosphere is adorable! Very rustic yet classy and modern. There is a patio with a stage for a band to setup. The night we were there the band arrived pretty late so we couldn’t stay later to listen, and we didn’t get to enjoy the patio as we wanted due to some locals pestering the owner. We ended up sitting inside, the servers were wonderful and full of smiles and laughter. We ordered the chicken jalapeno popper pizza. The menu says it’s jalapeños but in fact they were Texas Pete peppers. Way hotter than jalapeños, my lips were burning and I could only enjoy one slice. Good thing we shared with the table next to us - she was about to order the same pizza but when I told her it wasn’t jalapeños and quite spicy she tried it and decided against. It was still delicious but they should notify customers they are substituting peppers. The pretzel bites with cheese were little pillows of softness and my favorite snack! We were a little bummed they didn’t have draft beer (we weren’t sure what to expect) and we weren’t willing to pay $50 for 2oz of tequila so we settled for a canned beer and enjoyed the company of the local town residents chit chatting. I would visit again!

Sandra makes great cocktails, friendly owners committed to local live music and building up a great local place to hang out. We can't wait to go back - winter or summer. Tip - call ahead to see who's on the calendar for live music. John Spengler and his band rock a mean Sugaree. After at least an extra 10 minute impromptu jam, John joked at the end - 'yeah, just like we rehearsed it'😎... Local sax player Richard sat in and just added so much. John writes his own songs as well, based on some colorful stories he tells before each song.

Every time I go into this restaurant I feel like somebody's going to yell out "Norm"! It is the most Friendly restaurant you'll ever go to. Everyone treats you like a friend. There's a full bar, and everything we have ever ordered has just been fantastic to eat. Restaurant is very clean. Thursday is trivia night. Lot of fun to play. And a lot of times they have live music on the weekends. Plenty of parking. Waitresses are very attentive! Enjoy

Definitely a local place, but we were treated as their own. Had some pretty great conversations with a few people here, and just so many good vibes. Came here 3x the week of Spring Break. It was one of our favorite spots. We ordered some food and drinks. I tried a few beers, had some PBRs, wife enjoyed the gin and tonic. Kids = soda. We ordered the pizza the first night, and it was pretty swell! Second time, was me and my oldest and youngest (mom and middle didn't feel like going and just wanted to make some sammies). Me n the boy wanted chx wings. Daughter wanted pretzel bites. We ordered those apps. Goodness... the chx was so tasty, so juicy, so tender, sauce was pretty good (Chipotle BBQ, and naked wings). The pretzel bites were delicious, perfectly salted and cooked, and the chz dip was CHZ. CHZ...chz. All 3 of us raved about it when we got back to cabin, to wife and middle child. So, went a third time (our last night before heading home in a.m. and so the other 2 could try food) got 2 orders of pretz and a hell of a lot of wings (had an order per sauce and 3 or 4 more orders as well), and it was ALL gone. Everyone loved it. Kids loved the ice cream, too (huckleberry and cookies n cream). Good last meal before going home. We enjoyed the live music (and the music played from a mix) as well. Will be...

What a gem of a place! This bar perfectly captures the charm of small-town hospitality. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness that made us feel like locals. The atmosphere is lively and fun, and you can tell this is a place where the community really comes together.

The drinks are expertly crafted - you can taste the care that goes into each one. The bartenders clearly know their craft and take pride in what they serve.

If you're looking for a place with great drinks, welcoming people, and that authentic small-town vibe that's becoming harder to find, this is your spot. We'll definitely be back when we're...
