Gunderson's Restaurant — Restaurant in Lake Park

Thought we would try something different so we came in here. Ordered the Nachos and beef, I requested no black olives or onions, I assumed they would come with some other veggies like pico or jalapeños, nope, it came with a gallon of queso dumped all over them and picante on the side. The cheese was so much it was Gross. The chips were soggy half way thru eating them. I had a quarter cup of cheese left on my plate when done. The grilled chicken sandwich my other ordered left a lot to be desired as well.

Apparently I missed the sign that said cash only. Fortunately I had $25 to cover our $24.05 meal cost, at that point screw the tip. My bill should have been higher but the waitress didn’t ask me about any refills on my beer.

Food - Thursday’s are Wing night. Suggest the honey garlic, Parmesan garlic and of course can’t go wrong with the Hot wings. Boneless or bone in are available. Both are great!

Drinks - Good price for a mix drink! Beer is always cold!

Environment - Nice modern local bar. Little small but very family friendly. Locals can get a little loud towards the end of the night

Great food, large portion of French fries & steak fries, great service. Sports TVs on one side with bar & tall tables. Sports TVs and normal sized tables on other side.
