Northshore Lounge LLC — Restaurant in Lake Township

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We were at a table for 30 minutes without even being greeted, so we went to the bar and ordered drinks. We waited until those drinks were done(been over an hour now without anyone greeting our table) and went to the bar and ordered another round of drinks. Finally, a server approached our table and said... oh you got drinks already from the bar and walked away without asking if we needed anything else or offering us a menu. We called the owner over and she explained they only had one server for the entire packed bar, she apologized and brought us a round of drinks. We thought we'd finally get service now, AND my daughter even offered to buy the server that ignored us a shot. Well, the server NEVER came back to take our order... but she did take the time to drop off a tab for the shot my daughter offered to buy her. She then came by a 2nd time to get that tab paid without EVER asking us if she could bring us anything! This server was the rudest, worst server I've ever had. WARNING: Stay away from this place! While vacationing in the area with friends we decided to try Northshore lounge for dinner and drinks, as there was 4 couples, we were told we could only be on one bill. This is ridiculous! They charged 10% on top of this. When we had a question on the bill ($17.00+ for potato skins) and another order that we never received. The waitress was rude to our member that was questioning the bill. As this was not something that warranted a big deal being made out of (imho) I nor anyone in our party will be back when we are in the area next. I refused to tip while a member of our party did leave $50, for an almost $300 bill. I encourage patrons if they read this review and have similar experience to not leave a tip! While the food was decent, standard fair. The bar had a very very limited selection. Pulling beers and cracking tops is about the extent of their ability. Came by boat with a group of 8 for a cocktail and something to eat around 4:00pm on Sunday July 9th. We saw that the outside bar was closed so we came inside. Bartender was very rude and seemed bothered that we were there. Our group (older) was being very respectful and asked if we could get a bottoms up beer. We had told our visitors about it and they thought it sounded fun. She just said no and stood by us without asking us if we wanted anything else (or a table). We just decided to leave AND SHE LOCKED THE DOOR to the back patio waterside entrance behind us. There was another group of 6-8 people sitting at a table on the patio that saw all this so they figured they were not getting served either. So they left. As we were getting on our boat another group was pulling in so we told them not to bother and they just kept going. We ended up at The Back Door and had a great time.
