Camp Shasta — Restaurant in Lakehead-Lakeshore

Found this place as we were heading down I-5. Nice and easy to get to right off the highway. Friendly service and good food. You order up at the counter and then choose a table, inside or outside, and they bring you your order. Everything was delicious. Big cup of freshly made coffee to start things off. Husband got the Vegetarian omelet with one pancake instead of hash browns and he enjoyed it very much. I got the Breakfast Platter (meat of choice, two eggs, hash browns, and toast of choice) and it was quite good. The only thing I would change if I ordered again would be a substitution for the Hash Browns as they were dry and just so-so. We’d visit again if in the area. What a wonderful discovery on I-5! We got breakfast burritos with Italian Sausage, and this was one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had! The owners were so friendly and personable. I did enjoy my breakfast here, they have a nice variety of breakfast options and also couple of specials for the day, they have a home made sausage which is delicious but I believe it was salty , their hash browns are really yummy as well , but if they could control the salt it would be great, I enjoyed the chocolate...
