La Maria Taqueria — Restaurant in Lakeland

We ordered tacos, rice and churros for our son's b-day party.. 80 street tacos total.. tacos were delicious and ready to go, just had to add the garnish.. I called other places around and la Maria Taqueria had everything we needed and convenient.. I called the order in a couple of days before the party.. my husband picked the food, everything was on time and warm.. tortillas, salsa, cilantro, onions are included with the taco price.. tacos de Tinga de pollo were a hit! I highly recommend them.

I've tried multiple times cuz I love supporting local small businesses and the food itself is great. However I've literally never received an order that was correct. In fact I've been charged TWICE for things on more than one occasion cuz they forgot things and when I tried to make that known they charged me for the item I was missing AGAIN, get home to find out the item I paid for twice wasn't even correct. There clearly needs to be someone that speaks English more fluidly on shift always. Cant even get proper customer service cuz of very frustrating...

I’ll start with the food. Best tacos I have had hands down. I’ve had other taco spots, I’ve had Cali tacos, I’ve had it all. They just do it different over here. I give the food here an outstanding 9.8/10👏🏽👏🏽(Pastor is incredible)

The service: Amazing service, I love all the workers here and want only the best for them.
