TNT on the Lake Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Lakeport

My friend and I dined at TNTs Friday the 3rd. We came back because we had such a wonderful time the Friday before. I even wrote a 5 star review. Our visit last Friday was the worst experience I have ever had dining out. Our waitress was a horrible, nasty, mean woman. She came to our table with such a negative attitude and a scowl on her face. Took our drink orders. I ordered a blended pomegranate margarita. The waitress started arguing with me saying "a blended drink is just water because the ice cubes are crushed." And then basically lectured us that SHE doesn't drink and looked us up and down like we were doing something wrong. My friend ordered the Iguana margarita and the waitress told her NO, I will bring you something with spice" my friend said "I don't really like spicy drinks and she said "just a little spice" the drinks came mine was rocks instead of blended...my friends drink must have had half a bottle of tajin in it and was undrinkable for my friend. The waitress then came to take our order and my friend asked her about 2 dishes and what she would recommend. The waitress said "NEITHER I don't eat all this drowning in sauce." grabbed the menu out of my friends hands and turned the page and told my friend "you need this" it was a salad....I said to my friend, with the waitress right there "did she just call you fat?" Our meals came, my friends 2nd bite of her food she is pulling a METAL WIRE OUT OF HER MOUTH. We call over a different waitress tell her what happened and she laughs and says "oh that must be from the wire brush they wash the dishes with" I ask her to bring my friend another meal and she laughs and walks away. Our nasty waitress comes back and says "your not eating or drinking" to my friend" so I told her "her drink has a bottle of tajin in it and is gross and there are metal pieces in her food and she would like another meal" and the waitress walked away. My friend told me not to say anything more and asked for the bill. My friend was charged for the spicy margarita and her metal infused meal. My friend even tipped her, because she is too nice. Really horrible experience and that waitress should not work with the public. She is a mean, nasty person.

Nice dinner and drinks outside on a hot Friday night. Food was delicious. Drinks were ah-mazing. Wait staff...

TNT Mexican restaurant has been a favorite of mine since they where located in Lakeport. On the shores of Clearlake, in Lake County CA. They have since moved to their present location on the North end of Lakeport, but that hasn't changed the great Mexican food they serve and as all ways the Margarita's where perfection. We went with friends of ours, my fiancee and I had the fajitas De Casa for two it comes as a platter of beef, shrimp, and chicken with sauteed onion, green peppers, tomatoes in a light fajita sause . We prefer the flour tortillas for eating with. Our friends ordered the beef and chicken chimicha gas which come with of course rice and beans and guacamole. We split a pitcher of Margarita's. Everything was served to perfection, hot and delicious. The cost was less then a $100. dollars but we all felt that the service was such that we tiped the waitress $25 briging the total to just over a hundred. It was well...

Let me start out by saying the service here is great and the staff is very friendly. Margaritas were good! Now for the food. $20 for a seafood burrito better have some seafood in it right...? Nope.. My $20 seafood burrito had small little chunks of scallops and shrimp. Not whole pieces mind you.. This looked like little bits you would put in gumbo or a soup. 80% of my $20 seafood burrito was RICE and a little cheese! Although being tasty it was so over priced it made me upset 😡 The white wine sauce on top of the burrito was delicious, however I also wish that the delicious cabbage slaw they put on the side of the plate was inside the burrito and that it actually had some meat to chew on and that it was tasty seafood. If you are going to charge me $20 for a burrito put some Meat in it guys COME ON! And clean the dang dust and cobb webs off the restaurant decorations. Gross! RANT OVER!...
