I was treated to a delivery from my mom when jojo’s first opened but I waited to review until I got to visit in person. First, I love that it’s a family business from a local family, growing up in this neighborhood I remember back when all we had were 2 gas stations, so locally owned businesses are amazing! Second, the staff and atmosphere were phenomenal, I travel with an entourage of small people from baby to 7 years old, no one batted an eye at our little wild crew, they played with some of the games provided by the bakery and when they were done eating we enjoyed the shaded yard area with tree climbing and swinging.
Now for the most important part, the food. I only tried baked goods but they were so good I definitely want to go back for lunch. Everything we tried was delicious, I mean seriously, and I can be a bit picky about my baked goods. My two favorite things personally were the chocolate croissant, and the grapefruit shortbread cookie. Both just melted in your mouth, pure perfection! My kids loved the cinnamon rolls and snickerdoodle cookies, in fact my 3 year old has asked for more “jojo’s cookies” several times since our visit. Looking forward to trying more savory goods...

Read moreI really wanted to like this bakery, but I’ve been disappointed both times I’ve visited.
The first time, I ordered a French press and was told it would take about 15 minutes. After waiting 20, I was told they had forgotten about it and it would be another 15 minutes. When I finally received it, it tasted like weak bean water, really not enjoyable at all. However, they did give me a cookie for the inconvenience and it was delicious.
I decided to give them another try today and ordered the Italian sandwich. For $15, I was expecting a hearty sandwich with “meats” as described on the menu, but what I got was mostly bread with just 4 paper-thin slices of salami. Very underwhelming for the price.
On a positive note, the cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious.
Overall, I think this bakery has potential, but some work with organization on running the front counter and customer service has room for...
