There is a reason why the Breeze Inn has been known to have the best burgers in the Twin Ports. They are just good at what they do plain and simple. I have been eating at the Breeze for years and have always enjoyed each experience. Today I ordered the Loaded Moose Mountain which was delicious! Each bite was a celebration in my mouth. They really know how to put different combinations together that are super tasty. The Breeze stands out from similar establishments with their diverse menu that is executed perfectly. There is something for everybody, and it isn't a place that you will ever get tired of eating at. I had saw that new ownership is taking over soon, and I hope that they can carry on the Breeze Inn's reputation of great food and service.
If you are looking for some recommendations, here are some of my other favorite menu items that I have eaten over the years.
Burgers: Juicy Hawaiian, Loaded Southwest, and Sweet Chili.
Quesadillas: Pulled Carnitas and Northwoods.
Sandwiches: Carolina Pulled Pork and Havana.
Wraps: Little Ricky Wrap.
Chicken Wings: Sweet Chili, Bitchin' Breeze, and...
Read moreAs a local and monthly regular who has darkened the door of Da Breeze for years with family and friends, the overall experience has gone down hill in the past few years. Food quality is way down - compare pictures of burgers in other reviews from the past and then look at the same burger today and the evidence is obvious. It’s impossible to make a good burger when you start out with low quality ingredients. Prices have also increased as the food quality has gone down, and there has been considerably more staff turnover than in the past which speaks for itself.
The vibe when a Twins or a Wild game used to be on the tube is gone. Apparently the upside of having a crew hang out and sip beverages while watching a game or giving an order to go customer a reason to enjoy a bevy while waiting for their food to be up was not worth the monthly satellite TV cost.
The operation could benefit from improved management and leadership before the Da Breeze brand, and what it had going for it fades into...
Read moreWe hadn’t been to the Breeze in quite a while, so when we arrived I couldn’t wait to order their Reuben sandwich. I’ve ordered it dozens of times in the past and it was always one of the best I’ve ever had. I was so disappointed when it arrived! It was about half the thickness it used to be. Hardly any sauerkraut, the bread was so dry I peeled off all the crust…. And the pastrami….again, very minimal amount and there were two “chunks” about 3/4 of an inch, that I had to discretely spit into my napkin as they were not chewable. I was able to “salvage” less than 1/2 of the sandwich. Oh a positive note, our server was a delight! Wish I had gotten her name. We were with friends so I didn’t want to make a fuss, but I keep thinking about how disappointed I was. Thank you for reading my review, wish it could have been a...
