Junkyard Extreme Burgers and Brats — Restaurant in Lancaster

Good burgers, but they messed up our order and refused to do anything about it. my husband and I both ordered wreckers, and our friend got the original style burger. when the server brought it out, she gave me my friends, and his mine. We had been waiting for over half an hour and we're starving so we just dived right in without realizing it. About a quarter way in, my friend mentions that his has bacon and blue cheese, and I realize mine had just basic burger ingredients. we both used a knife to cut off a piece, so no biggy, we switched. But then, my husband and I began to realize that the wreckers (what we ordered) didn't have blue cheese. they were supposed to have jalapeno cream cheese. My husband went to explain this to staff and they said "oh, the cooks must've read the ticket wrong" to which my husband said "yeah, so what should we do about this?". They proceeded to tell him that owner policy is that they can't take back burgers that have been eaten. Well we kind of had to eat some to figure out it's wrong, right? We still had over half left, and they still wouldn't make it right. Basically, they admitted they messed up, but we still had to pay the price. If this was a $10 burger it wouldn't be so bad, but when we spent over $55 on the wrong burgers, that's pretty disappointing. Also, while we were leaving, we heard another table talking to a server about how they have to charge for ketchup. uhhh, seriously? Talk about cheapskates! They are more greedy...

This had Been my Favorite place for years. So when deciding on a place for my Recent Birthday dinner it was definitely the place I had to go. Unfortunately my Birthday will probably be the last time for me. The Food service and Customer Service was No good and that's even giving extra leeway for how crazy the world is at the moment. We ordered only 3 burger baskets and 1 chicken sandwich basket (With No Special Requests) @ about 5:30-5:40 p.m. and with them not being busy we still didn't get our food till 7:35p.m. and they close @ 7pm so as we sat in the dark waiting for our order since they already started shutting down 15min Early oh and we weren't the only customers now in the dark we finally got our Food which we ended up having to take home to find out most of our food was undercooked with some being raw. So the fallowing day a call was put in polity hoping just for new food gladly willing to bring our food back but was told I would receive a call from a manager. It's been almost a month now with Nothing. Truly a Shame as I said before it Used to be My most Favorite place...

We got to try this for the first time today with my niece and her parents. For those unaware, Junkyard was featured on a Triple D episode where Guy Fieri ate here - it's literally on their building!

We ordered the New Yorker Dog and the Alternator Burger, while my niece ordered The Cinder Block burger. Total wait time for food was about 8 minutes, and the service was exceptional.

While the dog aesthetically looked delicious, it was actually a letdown in regards to the "bite" - there was no pop/pizazz and just felt like a mediocre Nathan's style dog. The bun truthfully was the best part of it as it was soft, and had cheese cooked into the bottom of the bun which was a nice touch.

Similar to the dog, the bun on the hamburger was soft and buttery and really carried the hamburger. The hamburger was a solid 4/5 and would recommend - was extremely hot, fresh, and was even great later on as a leftover small snack.

All in all, The Junkyard is a great establishment, the food is definitely solid and we intend to come back to try their pizza as seeing others with it made us...
