SR.BIGOTES — Restaurant in Lancaster

EDIT: I spoke with Jorge today and he assured me that things had been corrected and invited my family and I back. We had a great night! The food was excellent and the service was great. We appreciate Sr Bigotes for going above and beyond for their patrons. This night meant a lot to our family and Jorge took care of us. Please let our waiter know he did an amazing job as well!

I hate to do this, but I have to be honest. My family loves this restaurant, but tonight (Feb 16) we had the worst experience ever. Our family was having a rare and special night out with our adult kids and granddaughter. Unfortunately, our waitress seemed like she absolutely did not want to be there. Maybe she was having a bad night, but this was the worst service we have had in a long time at any restaurant. Then our food was brought out and my granddaughters quesadilla cheese was not even melted. There were entire pieces of cheese that were not even beer melted and it was cold. My torta was soggy, unseasoned and only half even had toppings. When I told our server, she seemed like she couldn't care less. The attitude was basically, what do you want ME to do about it? After having our food remade, my granddaughters quesadilla was warm , but had half the amount of cheese. My torta was covered in toppings, but was still soggy and the meat was unseasoned. This review is not only for the great food but to give a BIG SHOUT out to our waitress JOHNATHAN!! Our daughter left her COACH pocketbook inside of the seat at the booth we were sitting at with her driver license, cash and debit card inside of it. Once she realized she left it there the business was closed. We contacted them the next morning and he had kept her pocketbook and put it up in a safe place. NOTHING WAS UNTOUCHED inside of it. This young man is not only an HONEST employee but very respectful! Thank you so much JOHNATHAN. He wouldn’t accept a token of appreciation so I immediately told him I would give him a SHOUT OUT on the google review! Thanks again JOHNATHAN. This is A tale of two dinners. First off, the salsa was really good. Probably the best I've had in Lancaster. I really enjoyed my Burrito Diablo, it was made with steak and chorizo and was chock full of meat. My companion ordered the birria tacos. If you have been to Tottos, they don't compare well. These had less flavor and the tortillas weren't fried so they fell apart. Our server was very friendly, and I enjoyed the artwork that they had scattered around the restaurant.
