Brookhouse Sports Pub & Restaurant — Restaurant in Lanesborough

This was my fist time here and I'm not happy with my experience at all. Other then my server having her nose up in the air at me n my friend, I ask to replace my soda cuz I wasn't happy with the taste, it tasted like comicals. So I got a rootbeer out the tap and was satisfied witht the taste of soda. I was not told the rootbeet out the tap was refillable until I wanted a second glass so...... I had to settle for water witch I feel was completely unnecessary cuz what I wanted in the first place was a PepsI or something that didn't taste nasty but ok, so on top of 2 lunches, 2 drinks my friend played $20 worth of keno, for a lunch of 2 I think that was enough to at least sit n have a descent meal out with my friend who her and I just got done spending a big amount of money on our nails and toes at the salon and did some clothes shopping in the Plaza down the street witch is a normal week thing for us, so for two woman going out for our weekly thing spending time n having a nice day with each other this is not a place I would spend my money or time here again. Witch is a shame cuz the food and atmosphere was nice. So back to chillies for us....witch is a shame, this is why small businesses are leaving...

We came here for the second time giving the benefit of doubt that the first time was just a bad day at the restaurant. Well we were wrong, food was good. BUT customer service (at least from the waitresses and hostess. The sign says wait to be seated and the hostess doesn't even greet us walks by us twice and then finally gestures from by bar to sit wherever (still didn't come up to us as guest). So we sit and we waited for a menu for a bit, and then when we ordered our appetizer came literally before our food (should of came before that's why it's an appetizer) I can get past that but the waitress was totally unfocused, didn't introduce herself at all and then took our orders and brought the wrong food. Then when I said it was wrong which was not to bad it happens but I was told I'd get my meal free of charge, and then instead came out and told me they changed the price from the mess up to what I actually ordered. And told me to take home the mess up order? I don't think me and my kids will be going back. And also they said "sorry for how long the food took" because they had ONE COOK. shouldn't they probably tell you that...

Ordered takeout here via the online ordering. Tried to order a steak and cheese, the options were cheese on the side or extra cheese. I didn't want to pay for extra cheese so I requested on the side (who the hell has ever heard of a steak and cheese with cheese on the side?) It came with no cheese at all. Can't really judge the taste of the menu item called steak and cheese with only half of its namesake being sent out, by default it gets a zero. Also ordered fries and "boneless wings" they are chicken strips, I still don't know why places call them wings. The flavor was good on those but the tops on the blue cheese containers don't fit and one was spilled in the container. At no point in my drive did the bag of food get jolted around so it was packed that way. The little time I did spend inside while picking up was pleasant. Definitely a place to go and eat, avoid takeout here. That or they need to fix their online ordering to not have stupid choices that result in an...
