Skinny Dip — Restaurant in Lansing

I normally never leave bad reviews but my experience was extremely poor. My family and I routinely drive from La Crosse, WI to here for their amazing food and ice cream. Lately, the service is worse than McDonald's. They always forget your food items and anything you order. Ordered an extra hot dog, and not surprisingly, they forgot to include it in my order. After waiting by the door patiently, I had to grab the attention of a worker (who ignored me several times before I spoke up). I explained my issue and she went to go get someone else. This lady came out with the receipt and promptly told me that I did not order an extra hot dog and I did not pay for it. She was extremely rude and wouldn't let me talk. She then slammed the door in my face and shouted "Have a nice day" from the kitchen which made a big scene with the all the people outside. I will never be returning here. The food has declined in quality, and the sizes of their ice cream dishes as shrunk but the price remains the same. If you wanted to be treated like a nuisance, recieve incorrect food items, and have a door slammed in your face - this is your place! You are better off getting the same cheap French fries from a store and cook yourself because this place has gone downhill. Also to the woman who treated me like garbage about my hot dog, I hope you enjoyed cleaning the water out of your Jeep Wrangler when it started raining out and you had to run out of the kitchen looking like an idiot. Karma comes around for everyone.

Update: contacted the email given in the reply from the owner and they never did anything about this....

We were really excited to try this place. Their scooped ice cream was good and they rotate the flavors, but they messed up our orders. My wife had ordered a dish and it came in a cone, and to fix it they dumped the cone in a dish, which clearly was lacking one of the flavors she had. I had an Oreo whip that was very rushed and not well mixed, making it essentially mediocre vanilla ice cream. The few pieces of Oreo in it were at the very bottom, which you hope more of when it’s the most expensive item on the menu. I’d be open to going back and giving it another chance as the vibe is laid back and it’s right...

Owner or older woman working was so rude to us and the others working there. First she made the wrong thing and when I told her I had asked for something else she threw it in the counter and told a co-worker to throw it away. Then we were told after my husband ordered and paid that the flavor he requested was gone. He didn't want anything else and at first this women said they would not issue a refund. After I told her the situation the boy working gave us $2.48 back when the cone cost over $3.00. it was not a good experience at all. Very...
