Only a couple of minor hiccups, but a great place to relax and enjoy. Plenty of view on property. Excellent view of ocean. Just a slight drive from San Juan. Enjoy the local cuisine, entertainment and tours. Coffee tour for Munoz coffee plantation was excellent. Alex our tour guide that took us to hidden waterfall great experience as well. If you want to really experience Puerto Rico you get everything here. Vegetation and trees are lush, colorful and fruit to be picked straight from the trees. Just to name a few on site mango, breadfruit, pineapple, coconut, avocado, guava, almond, banana, and plantain. There are animals that run loose but the dogs love to escort you home every time you arrive home. The coqui are adorable to listen to. It does rain but only lasts a little while. Rainforest is just a glance outside the window. Martha is checking on us frequently to ensure we have...

Went there for a late lunch with some friends from the states. Decided to dine in the air conditioned area, and our waitress by the name of Genesis was very rude. Since we sat down she seem to have an attitude and made everyone feel uncomfortable. When I asked to speak with the manager another waitress came out and said she was the manager and even then the waitress continued to be rude and accuse falsely to which the manager just replied that they have cameras and audio that they would check the recordings later. I asked that the waitress no longer service our table. The food looked good but I was too upset to even eat. I have been there various times before with many friends and have never had such a...

As my sister and I do every year when we come home to PR during the Christmas season, went to La Tormenta on Tuesday, 1/14/2020, only to be told by the owner’s mother that their hours had been changed and were not open on Monday and Tuesday. We were thoroughly disappointed, because we checked them online and it indicated that they were Open. I sent a message and figured that we could return at a later day to be on the safe side. We stopped by at about 6:00 pm only to find that the place was dark and closed, again. I checked online and I’d said that it was opened. We are crossing them out this year, since we are leaving Monday and don’t have any more time to waste driving over there. I wish them the...

Very pleasant experience and surprise!! We visited on a whim, in a Saturday afternoon and without any prior recommendations and not even knowing this restaurant existed. We ate at the sit-down restaurant part of the property (there's also a bar and a "lechonera" style area outside) and it was almost empty. But the food came out quick enough, hot, and tasty! One of the best kan kan pork chop I've had!! I don't know how a more crowded restaurant would affect service and food quality but at least during our visit both were great!! Bye the way, the property has an area with small farm animals and other areas where the kids would be easily entertained.

Even though I haven't eaten there, there's a lot to do there. They have performances in the afternoon, and there's descent sellers in the area. There's also a mini stable where there's goats, pony, pigeons, and chickens. My advice to anyone who walks around the place is to be careful where you step since the owners may pick a place far to let the animals "do their business" (#1 & #2).
