SandBar Grille — Restaurant in LaSalle Township

The smoked cream cheese and salmon with Naan bread, is something I will likely crave, indefinitely. It was phenomenal. The Mahi Mahi tacos were also delicious. The flavor was really there. The atmosphere and the food together makes it hard to not enjoy. It was difficult to get to, via car. I felt like I may have been trespassing, but I'd break the law, climb a wall, and swim across the peninsula to get the smoked cream cheese appetizer again. Best food I have had in a very long time. If I am ever visiting the area again, I will absolutely come back. Ill bring my swimwear just in case I have to do some funny business to get it.

This place was a great find. We had just been to Put in Bay in Ohio and on the way back wanted a lunch on the water feel. This place is just that, albeit a tad hard to find in the maze of marina parking lots. Also tucked in the back of the building with no sign out front, that I saw. Great food options. Even my vegan, gluten free low FODMAPS wife found options. They have seats right on the water and inside seats (needed because it rained) that face the lake. Such a hidden treasure! I've lived in Michigan over 40 years and have been here twice in a month! The food is good, we had pizza the first time and burgers last night. There's live entertainment Thursday-Sunday and the performers we've seen have been amazing!! We enjoyed it so much the first time we brought one of our adult children and partner this time. It's a very relaxing atmosphere, our server Logan was right on point, making sure we had everything we needed. It's a little hard to find the first time, but once you do, you'll never forget!!
