Update: well since my first visit and subsequent review I’ve been to this restaurant twice. The first 2 times my experience was good as per my below review. I decided to stop by with a friend yesterday to celebrate her birthday. The place was packed so we had to sit at the bar. We ordered the chicken pasta and a glass of wine. As usual the wait staff was very nice & attentive. When our food came out we could tell it was not hot, and after tasting we confirmed that each of our plates were cold. The chicken was seasoned very well but the pasta was bland and not done. We spoke to Caroline who immediately accommodated us by taking the plates back to be reheated. When they returned our food it was as if they barely heated it up. At this point we just ate what we could bare and decided not to make a fuss. Our waitress asked how things were this time and we told her the food was still not warm the second time and we would just take it to go. I asked her if it would be possible to get extra bread as I planned to take the leftover pasta home to season a bit & reheat. She informed me that she would have to charge us for the bread. Well I thought the least we could get was a piece of bread for our troubles. Since it wasn’t up to her to make that decision, she calls Caroline over and she goes on to explain how it’s not their practice to give away bread as they have to pay for bread. I really wasn’t expecting to be reprimanded for asking for bread especially since the quality of the entree was not up to standard. In fact, I told her to keep the bread at this point but she insisted that she would do it THIS TIME. This was not the customer service I received from Caroline the first time I ate at her restaurant. I’m not sure if they were overwhelmed because they had a full house that night but it would be nice to make sure your customer is taken care of at all times and not to receive a lecture because they asked for extra bread. I was quite surprised by Caroline’s response and it’s certainly making me think twice about going back.
Stumbled on this place yesterday. The service was excellent & staff was very friendly. They are new so go check them out. Owner came out to chat with us and she was very sweet. Caroline is her name I believe. Nice place to go with family as well as to stop to have drinks. I hope they stay...
Read moreMy family and I just had an incredible meal here. We ordered the Margarita Pizza and the Buttered Chicken. My wife and mother in law shared the pizza and seeing their eyes roll back as they took their first bite was all the sign I needed. They loved the flat bread style but the flavors of the pizza sent it straight to number one. I had the Buttered Chicken and it was the best I’ve ever had. It comes with long grain rice, sauté bell peppers and onions and the chicken. The flavor is so incredible with a little spice. I started to slow down eating it just so I could savor the flavor of it all that much longer. The atmosphere and decor of the restaurant makes it the perfect place for a family dinner or first date. The staff is so friendly and really brought a bit more joy to our table. I believe that you will enjoy every bit of your time at this hidden gem of...
Read moreThe Tomato & mozzarella Bruschetta appetizer was fresh and delicious. The balsamic vinaigrette is the star of this dish. The Chicken fettuccine Alfredo was one of the best I have had from a restaurant. The noodles were perfect and the sauce was buttery. Portion size was just right. Dessert was perfect! The blueberry pie and ice cream was drizzled with a blueberry balsamic vinaigrette that took it over the top. It was not too sweet and not too tangy.
The atmosphere was great. The owner and the staff were amazing and very attentive. With the open kitchen, you can see and smell all the food cooked fresh.
This has quickly become a new favorite!...
