Edgar Bar — Restaurant in Laurel

Service wasn't the best I can't believe all the reviews say the service was good! We made reservations and expected a table that wasn't by the door right?!? Who in their right mind when you call in for reservations would seat you right next to the dam door?!? It's April and it's still snowing outside! We politely asked to be moved to a different table. Mind you our reservation was set up for 6pm and the waitress told us that she couldn't seat us anywhere else because the tables were set up for reservations until 7:30pm. Ok there were a lot of empty tables nobody was sitting at. So we ended up sitting at the bar! A couple walks in no reservations and where do they get to sit?? In the middle of the restaurant not by the door!!! Gahh at that moment I didn't even want to eat there anymore or give them our money!! We ended up eating there anyways only because we drove aways and that's like the only place to eat in Edgar! The people working up at the bar were pretty...

Was at the Edgar bar for dinner last evening, they were busy and appeared short handed! Waitress took one persons order at our table, disappeared for 10 minutes, seating others, delivering food to other tables and finally after about 10 minutes we asked her if we had been forgotten, her reply was Im multitasking, I will be right with you! Never in my life have I had this happen at a restaurant! If she was so busy why not say I will be right with you, not start taking orders and then just leave!! Food was good, but we were there a couple months ago and food was excellent! When the bill came my friend bought us dinner, waitress takes credit card and the bill but fails to return her credit card! Had to track her down for the card, and she brings the card, says oh I just left it on the computer! Didn't leave a very good feeling for...

My soul left my body... I made sounds that would make other women jealous... I'm pretty sure I heard a lady at the next table say, "I'll have what she's having." The ribeye was so perfectly cut and perfectly cooked (med-rare), that it made me consider divorcing my husband, right then and there, and running away with the man behind the grill here. My father-in-law's rare prime rib was superb... looking and tasting (I had to pull the whole "what's that over there?!" trick to sneak a piece from his plate.... And risked taking a knife to the hand.... But it was so worth it)! The jumbo shrimp was a giant treat and the sides were perfect complements to the main event that was MEAT! Seriously.... If you are within an hour of this place, you should check it out. RESERVATIONS ONLY! I will dream of this dinner for...
