FAT RABBITS — Restaurant in Laurinburg

Now, everyones opinion is different and taste is subjective. Though here is a review from a chef who enjoys trying new things, supporting local businesses and who has an open mind! I came here with my girlfriend, have never heard of this place until we googled restaurants nearby. I gotta say, the atmosphere is really cool. Comic books, all sorts of nerdy stuff. The menu selection is extensive, a lot to choose from! Mind you, there may a slight wait, there were only 3 people in the back and all 3 were working nonstop to take orders, cook, clean, etc. So it wasn't like we were waiting on nothing, they were all moving and working. In a restaurant there is a big difference in waiting because the staff is being lazy and when there is a lot going on and there is only 3 people working. Thankfully they have games and music to chill and play and listen to while you wait! When the food came out it was actually really good. I got a chicken and bacon calzone which was good. A bacon cheese fry which had mozzarella and cheese sauce with bacon which was good and my girlfriend got chicken Alfredo which was good as well. Sure, everyones experience may be different but my first experience was a good one. I also really like the concept of the restaurant and the vision the owner has in mind, giving kids a cool place to eat, chill out. The comic books can be bought as well. This is a small place, just a few boths. The gentleman behind the counter not only took our order but prepared it as well. He took the time for six-year-old to come back behind the canner .They had a little gate for safty to watch him hand toss our pizza and make our meal. We dined in everything was clean.We took a lot of memorable pictures.The collection inside is PAN Homo from comic books to Chippendale.To pay the star wars it was a little child's dreams. The pizza special was fantastic though. Was soft and sweet. Not that hard as a rock and crunchy pizza. Get elsewhere, the toppings were nice and moist and fresh. It's were crispy on the eye. Solid without being drowned and flavoring and still soft and moist in the inside. I visited Fat Rabbits for the first time last Tuesday with a group of 5 friends. This is a great restaurant if you're looking for a fun and delicious pizza place with lots of other yummy menu items. The pizzas have a perfectly cooked crust and the toppings were excellent. We shared a bunch of items including the absolutely mouth watering Fighting Scot's Pizza and the incredible all-meat pizza, The Philly cheese steak was delicious. The BBQ chicken wings were cooked to perfection as were the baked potatoes. . The menu offers a big selection of items including pizza, wings, sandwiches and desserts like delicious cheesecake.
