I visited Tommy Ray's BBQ today and had their pulled pork—it was absolutely incredible! The flavor was outstanding, perfectly smoky, juicy, and seasoned just right, with the ideal amount of fat to keep it succulent. Honestly, it was the best local BBQ I've ever tasted, and I can't recommend it enough! The atmosphere was fantastic too. It felt like I was eating on a backyard porch with friends, complete with outdoor dining and benches right off the lake—ideal for a relaxing summer day with family. The family running the place was awesome, taking the time to genuinely make me feel welcome. I'm already excited to return next weekend to try their sauces and brisket next weekend. Just gave them a try and we’re impressed! We sampled a little of everything and nothing disappointed. The mac and cheese was creamy and melty, like homemade comfort food at its best. The Brunswick stew was the best we’ve had in a long time.

The pulled pork was excellent and tender! The brisket was also great. The coleslaw was fresh, and their vinegar sauce was the family favorite.

Everything looked like quality ingredients. Service was quick, and everyone was very friendly. We’ll definitely be back! Bonus is they have a dock right on the water for easy pickup when you’re out...
