Crave Nature's Eatery, established in 2022, boasts a pleasant ambiance that sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. As a vegetarian/vegan enthusiast, I was pleased to find a restaurant that offered a wide range of plant-based options, and my excitement led me to explore the diverse offerings of Bowl & Salad selections and Juice & Smoothie combinations.
Opting for the Loca Chicken Bowl with Teriyaki Tofu substitution and a sesame ginger dressing, I had high hopes for a flavorful and wholesome meal. Unfortunately, the tofu turned out to be a letdown, appearing stale and rubbery, which was disappointing given the potential of the dish. However, the lentil soup was enjoyable, though I could have done without the unnecessary addition of cilantro, as it seemed to dominate almost every dish like cranberry juice in all other drinks.
To satisfy my sweet tooth, I indulged in the mango chia pudding made with almond milk, which offered a pleasant and satisfying dessert option. Additionally, the vegan rice crispy treat was a highlight of the meal, impressing me with its taste and texture.
The beverage choice, "The Vision," consisting of orange, carrot, ginger, and turmeric, was a refreshing and invigorating blend. Those familiar with juices would appreciate the fresh taste, although newcomers might notice the pronounced carrot flavor and the spicy bite from the ginger.
The restaurant's atmosphere was enhanced by the excellent choice of music, contributing to a great vibe during the dining experience. However, I couldn't help but feel slightly slighted by the service, as my food was served in to-go containers despite my intention to dine in, while the group behind me received dine-in bowls. Consistency in service is essential to ensure all customers feel valued and attended to, regardless of their dining preferences.
In conclusion, Crave Nature's Eatery shows promise, with the potential for improvement. The variety of plant-based options and the pleasing ambiance make it an attractive destination for health-conscious individuals. However, there are some areas that could use refinement, such as the preparation of tofu and the handling of cilantro in dishes. With some adjustments to the food quality and service consistency, this restaurant could become a top choice for vegans and vegetarians seeking a flavorful and nutritious meal in a vibrant setting with great music to elevate the overall experience. I'll certainly keep an eye on Crave Nature's Eatery, anticipating its growth and improvement...
Read moreI've been eyeing this place for awhile but just managed to place a pickup order today. I did miss the turn for the parking lot and had to park in the burger king lot and walk over, but that's totally on me. There was plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant. The outside is totally unassuming but holy wow! It is BEAUTIFUL on the inside. Really.
I ordered a multitude of things, as I tend to do when I try somewhere new. I am now obsessed with this place and worried for my bank account.
Drinks: *Peach white chocolate mocha: this isn't a combination I knew I needed in my life, but I'm so glad it now is. So fun, so delicious, so bummed I got this for my husband. *Lavender lemon refresher, add mint: This WAS amazing, but unfortunately for my daughter it fell out of the drink carrier as I was walking to the door and spilled everywhere. The sip I got from what remained in the cup was superb. *pistachio latte: sadly this fell short for me. I love pistachio lattes, and I've consumed quite a number of them in my life, but this just wasn't it for me. Something about it was almost sour(?) to me. *they gave me a free hot coffee which was super sweet.
sauces: *honey balsamic was phenomenal. *basil pesto was light and refreshing and yum! *crave sauce was really good. I felt like such a a risk-taker ordering this when I had no idea what to expect. *green goddess is a nice light flavor!
food: *caprese panini: so stinking good, Y'all. I like to always order something sort of "basic" or "safe" from a new place to see how it stacks up. this is the real deal. I want it every day. *BYO bowl: I did the cilantro rice base, flank steak, added on general tsos tofu, and did the truffle mushrooms, Brussel sprouts, dill corn, bacon bits, and montery jack cheese. I tasted every component by itself. This was SO good. cant wait to try other variations! the steak was seasoned so well, and was tender. *my husband got the Cuban panini but I snuck a smell and a bite and can confirm it's delicious as well.
I am SO impressed and will 100% be back. Maybe this week....
Read moreWell, well, well....I love this place when it comes to drinks and stuff. The young girl w the curly hair and glasses is my favorite staff member but today I was very disappointed. I moved here recently but spend my time prior in L.A., where Service is at the forefront. This place reminds me of my Cali home when it comes to food and creativity but today my husband stopped after a long day of work to get me a latte and waited for twenty minutes to find out that they forgot about the order....we both was very frustrated w that!! I was craving a summer late and he had a terrible day at work....he still stopped to get me that drink. When u walk in it is a bit unorganized and it doesn't help that the regular folks are somewhat rude too. He went to order at the wrong line since it is not really advertised that u don't need to stand in line if u only want a drink...can u guys please fix this? It should be a sign pointing saying food only, drinks only....however, after waisting 20 minutes in house his drink was forgotten about. I ended up w no drink and he got home not happy. I hope u do better Crave bcs I very much like ur...
