Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Lawrence Township

WOW! Treated so rudely by the young girl working about an hour ago this evening. Signs up all over that say “ we are extremely short staffed. Be patient” and I totally understand that, and they were busy, but that is no excuse for being rude. I noticed 3 young boys working and this rude young lady. The boys were bopping all over place working hard and being pleasant and polite while this girl was schlepping around, dragging her feat frowning and looking irritated. Several people in front of me inside the store so I could observe her before she got to me. She treated everyone like they were bothering her and I noticed several people looking at each other after she spoke to them. When she got to me, I placed my order and paid for it and her exact words were “ you can pick it up over there whenever we get to it” .. I hesitated a moment because I was going to comment on her attitude but before I could she looked up and said “ I said you can pick it up over there when it’s ready” . I have gone thru drive thru and wanted to add an ingredient, such as cheesecake into the oreo blizzard I ordered, I was told sorry, but once we make it we can't change it!! I worked there for several years and know HOW a blizzard is made and altho it may take 2 more minutes to add the cheesecake and remix, it in fact can be done. So I said well, then I'll add an oreo blizzard with cheesecake added in to my order. which I realize at the window, it's not the most convenient time and I have worked in a drive thru so I know it adds a little work, but if it means the company was going to make another sale or upsale we did it and to keep the customers happy and coming back.. Instead I was told rudely that they aren't allowed to add to an order. Then twice in the last 2 weeks we have gone, once we were told they had no vanilla ice cream, ok machines break..I'll take chocolate, no problem. 4 days later went thru and was told they had no ice cream. I asked, u have no ice cream products, at all? And was told in annoyance, no I just told u our machines are all broken.. all machines were...

My friends and I went to dairy queen tonight. The captain trainee Jenn was very rude and had an extremely bad attitude for no reason. My friend Shelby asked about milkshakes then asked if they still had the orange dreamsicle dip for ice cream cones. Jenn rudely interrupted Shelby and said they don’t have that flavor in milkshakes and Shelby said she knew that she was asking about the dipped cone flavor. The lady continued to be rude. When I ordered Jenn gave it to me and there was ice cream WAY too much over the cup making a mess. Also to mention Shelby’s ice cream was a drippy mess for no reason. When i asked for a drink carrier she gave me a dirty look and rolled her eyes. Then we had to turn around because i forgot an order i needed to make. She was very rude and didn’t ask if we needed/wanted anything else and was rude after we asked if she was still there.
