Casey's — Restaurant in Lawrence

Dec 1 2024 update. Added more pictures. Trash continues to blow into our neighborhood. Spend 1/2 a day picking up a literal truckload of trash.

July 25 Update - added pictures of the overflowing trash bin. Trash that then blows into my neighborhood. DO NOT shop here.

June 21 2024 update. 0630 AM. Boy do I want to use this place but this is my last time to try. Every single bin of window cleaner EMPTY. Asked the clerk to fill one. ‘Oh. We have a service that is supposed to do that’. What a joke. Never again. I like Casey’s but even though this one is a block from my house. Never again. Look at the reviews. You would think the owner would work on food quality. Filthy conditions and quality of service. Stop supporting below average business.

Update to my previous review. Decided to give the store another chance. Trash bins overflowing. Blowing trash throughout the neighborhood. Staff on their phones with boxes of items on the floors to be stocked. It’s amazing to me this place has made it this long. The store is filthy. Cockroaches on the floor. Bathrooms smell like they haven’t been cleaned since the store opened. I would not recommend.

This store just opened near our home. Went In to order a made to order sub sandwich. Employee behind the counter wouldn’t make a sandwich because their policy is that you have to order a custom sandwich online. They were standing behind the sandwich making counter doing nothing. Ordered Taco Pizza last night. Got home with a Beef Pizza. They did remake it. Quality and taste was below standard. Don’t waste your time getting food here. It’s still just a...

Stopped at Casey's on my lunch break to pick up a spicy chicken sandwich. There were none pre-made so I asked the cashier if I could order one. She initially said there was only two employees in the store and that they wouldn't be able to but then she said a chicken sandwich isn't that hard we can go ahead and do that. I was very appreciative. After about 10 minutes she came and said unfortunately they had no hamburger buns. Could I accept the chicken on a biscuit or croissant? I said a croissant would be fine. When they brought me the sandwich the chicken was fresh but the croissant was ice cold. They did apologize and gave me a dollar off for the inconvenience and for accepting cold bread. But then when I began to eat the sandwich I noticed that all around the edges was completely burnt and there wasn't any meat except for in the middle. This was a horrible experience! I think it would have been better if they just told me no instead of wasting my money for a disgustingly nasty spicy chicken sandwich! I do not recommend the food at...

This is the second time we have had an unpleasant encounter with the kitchen for making a pizza or breadsticks.

The first time was about two weeks ago - we ordered a breakfast pizza. When we walked in to pick up our order we knew by the demeanor of the assistant our pizza may not be to our expectations. Indeed, all of the breakfast fixings were in the middle of the pizza and the pizza was so undercooked that when you picked up a slice it folded over at 90 degrees!

Now comes our second encounter- which has lead me to my review- our breadsticks with jalapeño's and bacon bits were not comparable to our previous orders. Once again all of the toppings were in the center and the food was under-cooked to the point we threw it away. It is Sad that we welcomed Casey's to the neighborhood and yet it is caused such a disappointment.
