It’s like the diner version of Cheers where everybody knows your name. Or at least they surely would if we weren’t from out of town. A fine example of small town USA this is another one of those local gems. No they aren’t a five star restaurant or a tourist trap. Their food is average and right down the middle of the road as far as diner fair goes. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to really complain about. Small town family own business like this are the inspiration for chain eateries trying to look local. But this please is the real deal and they are worth the visit just to suck up the history and strong sense of patriotism on full display. The staff are straight out of central casting with friendly smiles, speedy service and happy experience. My only regret was I didn’t get a chance to ask about Miss Marcy and her crew with their reserved parking space and table by the window. I know that has to be a great story. All in all it’s a good meal at a reasonable price. But more importantly it’s a great slice of Americana that shouldn’t be missed. I also love the fact that your supporting local businesses as well

I’ve been a patron of Rotsells for years, even before the crazy times around covid. The food choices are pretty vast and there is sure to be something for anyone. Up until recently I have always suggest Rotsell's as a great place to stop for a hearty meal at a reasonable price. Service has always been great as well. But my last visit really threw me off, My party was charged $2.99 for a small amount of mayo on the side. We specifically asked for it on the side, but it was put they had also directly added some on the sandwich—only for us to be charged for the mayo on the side anyway. It feels like a petty charge, especially for something so minor. I’ve always appreciated Rotsell's for its reasonable prices and quality service, but this felt a little over the top.

We hit this little family-owned restaurant on the way back from New York for brunch. It was a very welcoming atmosphere with a small dining room in the front and a bigger one in the rear. It reminded me of restaurants growing up (in a good way). Food was great. Prices were very reasonable. Service was fantastic. There was a "For Sale" sign in the window. That's a shame since great little restaurants like these are dying off. Recommended while they're still open!

Excellent spot, great atmosphere and friendly servers. I had the filet and lobster ravioli and it did not disappoint. I will say I ordered my filet med rare and it was a bit over for me- closer to med well but the flavor was on point and fork cut tender. Ravioli was perfect aldente. The presentation was immaculate with the asparagus tee peed on the filet. Maybe a bit heavy on the marinara sauce but the flavors were there. I know it seems like a lot of criticism, but even with my fault finding I would definitely order this again. Always a bonus when Chef comes to the table to see how you liked your meal- and yes I shared everything with him and told him even with my picking the meal was stupendous. Great job and highly...
