I ordered a cake with Nutella and fresh strawberries. I got a cake without Nutella and with a strawberry jelly. I was referred to this bakery by three different people. I wasn’t going to do a Google review because it’s a small business, and they rely on that, so when I called the bakery to just let them know that my cake did not meet the expectations (not having Nutella, didn’t taste like Nutella, and that there was a strawberry jelly instead of fresh fruits). I was told that they don’t put fresh fruits because it dries out the cake and they mix their Nutella with the filling. when I have time, I do bake with fresh fruit. In Brazil and in Germany they sell their cakes with fresh fruits. I also mentioned It was an $110 cake that it let me down so I just wanted to share my experience and she broke down the cost of eggs, flour and everything else to bake the cake. Ultimately due to their advertising of how the cake was going to be vs what I got was very misleading, and when I called to give that criticism for their own benefit I was shut down...
Read moreBeen in there twice, the 1st time I thought they might be having a bad day. I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday for over 100$, and it looked like a wedding cake topper. Staff was difficult, to the point of being put out. It was ordered for a Friday they had it done on Tuesday, so needless to say it tasted like a cracker come birthday time. I have never been so disappointed, my daughter was disappointed. Do yourself a favor and order from Walmart, sams, any other baker! Box cake would have been way better. Yes I said wal mart. Made for when you order it. Better service, and friendlier staff. Theses guys are so bad. Avoid, avoid, avoid. I hope you read this who ever made that monstrosity.please reply I’d like to speak to you in person. Sorry it’s my daughters 18th birthday. You only get 1 of those. So there is no fixing it. I already got an other cake. Good luck...
Read moreUp and coming, this is a quaint little bakery has a lot of potential. The atmosphere is boutique charm with a wonderful attitude toward customers. We showed up late in the afternoon and ordered a cake the day before my brother's birthday. The ladies didn't hesitate to accommodate our request and answer all of our questions. We ended up ordering a zelda triforce themed cake with buttercream icing and vanilla cake. They said it would be ready by the following afternoon. The price was $25.00 for a 6 inch round, not bad considering it's all made in house, no pre-made icing like retail chain bakeries. We showed up around 11a the next day and our cake was ready to go. The icing was creamy and balanced with flavor. The cake was not too moist, just right but needed a boost of flavor, overall pretty tasty. Definitely going back to try their cookies and...
