Little Dandy Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Le Sueur

So disgusting. Ordered 3 traditional wings. Two were okay but the third (traditional wings with Buffalo sauce) were completely bare wings, no sauce, and the chicken tasted like it was past its best by date by a week. The bottom half of the wings was filled with straight oil that smelled like that cheap kraft Italian dressing. It seems like someone poured used cooking oil instead of Buffalo sauce. Everyone who tried a bite is now feeling a little sick. I spent 70 dollars tonight and this isn't the first time this happened. Normally food is great but the last 3 times I ordered something was wrong. Ordered the nachos and the cheese was boiled onto the paper, couldn't even separate one nacho, except the black ones. For some reason those broke apart like soggy wet bread. That time was 80 buks. The time before that i ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap, and there was a huge thumbhole in one side and all the insides were spilled out all over. It was like a soup burrito, not a wrap. We won't be getting this food again, after years of eating here 3 times...

Mr. Larry ( retired Waseca auctioneer), who has a little workshop behind my neighbors house, stopped me the other day and said, " So.. I hear you like a good burger?" "Why, yes, I do like a GOOD burger!" He said "well then you have to get over to Lil'Dandy. ".. well, if Mr Larry said go, then ..... we go! For those who don't know, we recently moved to Southern Minnesota and are learning the lay of the land, so we are open to all recommendations. Without Mr. Larry, we would never have found this lil' gem... This place is perfectly basic! Service was attentive, funny, and had great recommendations. We both had the Dandy burgers. The meat was so good.. it was fresh and tasted exactly how beef is supposed to taste ( since the covid lots of foods taste really "off") I didn't realize they had a salad bar until half way through our meal, so I'll have to try that next...

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. The service was notably unwelcoming—my server was distant and barely spoke to me throughout the meal. I was never asked how the food was or if I was enjoying my visit, which was disappointing for a first-time guest. The food itself also left much to be desired. I ordered the chicken, which was undercooked and had a doughy texture. I ended up discarding it after I left, as I didn’t feel it was safe to eat. Considering the total bill came to $71, I expected a significantly better experience both in terms of food quality and service. While I did leave a tip out of courtesy, the experience made me question whether it was warranted.
