I came in here 5 weeks ago during their soft opening and man it was awful… i ordered a drink and it seems like the young workers just have friends hanging out in there. I wasn’t acknowledged although I was one of only two customers there. They have a kiosk I guess I wasn’t sure how it worked. I was friendly and asked when the officially opening was, the pink hair worked said they don’t know yet. I asked if they have traditional boba milk teas or how the flavorings worked and he said he didn’t know what I was talking about. So that was confusing, the young man with glasses chimed in and helped and knew what I meant by traditional milk tea.
There was two young teens talking to the workers the whole time. Then the worker with pink hair started fighting with a worker over a shift that walked in, they had a whole incident as I waited over 15 minutes for my drink. The worker that came in for a shift quit I guess and the worker with pink hair was frustrated and ignored myself and the other customer waiting for a drink. After he went to the back just got the milk pumped a bit of syrup and gave me my drink.
It was the most awkward experience, then they were all just talking with their friends in there so I had to mention I was still waiting on my drink. And was one of two people in there. Super unprofessional, and on top of that was charged twice. It was so uncomfortable i decided to just not go back. Read moreThis place isn’t gonna fly. It’s a joke that I waited for 70 mins after ordering two teas and one waffle. 15 mins later they told me they were incapable of making a waffle and refunded me. Another 30 mins later one drink was ready. I went to the shop next door and came back in 15 mins. The second drink was not ready. Another 5 mins, I got an iced drink although I ordered a hot one…I was completely speechless. Just wanna leave and never come back. It’s not about the small menu and mediocre taste. It’s about the incapability of running a business. I hope the owner is aware of the seriousness of this issue. It’s a competitive business and there are 10 people in the same area running the same business. I’ve been to several boba tea places in the first week of the openings. Read moreI asked the man working if their flavors had artificial dye in them as my children are allergic. He said only one did. I asked to see the flavor that he stated was dye free. It had dye. In fact, all the flavors do. The worker does not know his product and almost gave my children ingredients they are allergic to. On top of not being personable or helpful.
