We were driving across Tennessee on our vacation and found this gem. The food just makes you happy. I had roast with carrots and potatoes, deviled egg, potato salad, turnip greens, and hot water cornbread. Everything was delicious. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. If you’re in the area it’s a must-try.

Absolutely delicious. Best food I’ve had in the city and up there for best I’ve had in the state. I had the ribs with mac & cheese, cabbage and potato salad, with some lifechanging peach cobbler after. It was all delicious, and from such a friendly, welcoming place. Worth taking a detour for

I had chicken and dressing , mac & cheese, turnip greens, and cornbread fritters. It was delicious. I had the carmel cake as well. It was ok. I will definitely go back again.

We are on vacation from Ontario Canada. Staying in Lebanon, TN. Wanted to have a nice sit down meal. I used google and checked many restaurants in the area and this place had decent and good reviews so we decided to go try it. It is outside of town but was only a 10 min drive. First off we could hardly tell if it was open despite the website saying so. We were greeted upon entering. We chose a table and service was quick and questions were answered for clarity in regards to the menu. We are a family of 4, all ordered a cheeseburger, 3 plates with fries and one with macaroni & cheese. And we ordered an order of onion rings. Well i don't usually post negative reviews but nothing about this visit was good. My burger never arrived with proper toppings, no onion rings ever appeared and the three plates with fries maybe had 25 fries on each. We each had a drink. When we were finished no bill was presented so i proceeded to the register area. No bill was issued just a total she had added up on a cell phone calculator. Imagine my frustration when she said it was $61 and odd cents. I immediately made her aware we ordered rings but they never appeared. I asked if we were charged for them she replied no. No apology for forgotten onion rings at all. I paid the bill and left. Would not reccomend this place at all. Very disappointed and will never...

My wife and I absolutely loved the food at Ceah's Soulfood! Now, this place is definitely off the beaten path. When we looked up the directions, my wife thought there was a mistake. There are no other restaurants in the area, but that's just fine because Ceah's will get you right. We went in, and Ceah greeted us. Very friendly. We ordered our plates, and I had to try her blue raspberry Kool-aid. Brought me back to my childhood. My wife ordered the fruit tea, which is fantastic. I would definitely take a jug of this tea home. My wife ordered the catfish plate with hot water cornbread and white beans. 😋 My goodness, the beans have incredible flavor! I'll order those on our next visit. I ordered the hamburger with fries and some chicken strips. Everything was fresh, and the Ceah burger is a REAL burger! When she brought our plates, I was very happy to see an actual hand-made patty just like I make at home. It was tender and delicious nice soft bun action going on. Highly recommended. We got a piece of the white cake to take home. Probably should have gotten a second slice! We...

We were about 2.5 hours from home. Wanted to try something new. There were 6 of us our family and another couple. Placed order 3 of us ordered Philly steak. A few moments later we were told they were out of it. We changed it to burgers. Our friend said he chicken didn't seem to be cooked right. My sons and my burger wasn't cooked all the way. So we ended up not eating. Was never asked how to separate bill. Payed over $60 for 4 meals 2 of which was way undercooked. Women's restroom had mens beard trimmer sitting on counter. There's no refills cause their sodas are by can. $2 a can. Was not happy at all especially with both parties paying close to $90 total. Idk if we were just there on an off day or what but we will...
