I learned a very valuable lesson last night during a trip to a school in Lebanon for a high school basketball game. As the regular bus driver for such trips from this school there are times when we are on long trips and will stop at some fast food place for what we hope will be a quick bite to eat, sometimes it's not. While waiting for the game to begin I decided to check out Google maps to see just what there was in the area and first found three McDonald's listed with one of them being permanently closed. The other two based on the reviews sounded almost as if they should be closed as well as the majority of those postings were rather negative. This had me checking out some of the other places in town with none of those sounding much better so when the coach came to me I told him what I had found but since it would only be a one time trip we decided to come here even though I did not expect it to be all that enjoyable of an experience. As said I was driving the bus for the team and the first thing I noticed upon arrival is there is no really good place in the parking lot to park a bus unless the you are willing to walk from the shopping center in the back on a cold wintry night possibly traipsing through the snow, I was not so I just took the only place I could fit the bus. Upon entering the restaurant though I did take note that it seemed to be a clean place and well staffed as I watched the young ladies at the counter taking the orders of the 35 or so kids I had brought in and doing what appeared to be an excellent job of making sure the orders were properly understood. I noticed the one girl Jamie that with a smile on her face even asked appropriate questions of the kids just to be sure she had gotten everything they ordered. When it came time for me to go and put my order in I chose her line as I was sure she would do a good job. The young lady that was the manager also did an excellent job with getting all the food out to the guests quickly and correctly and all 35 or so of us were served and out the door in less than a half hours time. The valuable lesson I learned is do not always trust the reviews given on Google, just use them to know what to watch for so there are no surprises. Don't even trust my review as it may have been a freak occurrence since so many of the others were quite negative but if we are ever out here again for a game we will not hesitate to chose this place for a quick meal. The 4 stars instead of 5 is because the small parking lot and the fact that they do not have paper towels in the bathroom to be able to grab the door with so you are not catching a cold from...
Read moreI stopped at this McDonald’s for breakfast on my way to work and ordered a sausage egg and cheese McGriddle meal with a Dr Pepper no ice and an extra hasbrown. Order was repeated back I said yes drove to the window and heard it repeated back again I said yes and paid. Pull up to the pick up window first get handled a Dr Pepper with ice and then my bag. I start to pull out and notice there is only one hashbrown so even though I’m on my way to work and have little time I go in to let them know I just went through gave my order and said I’m missing a hashbrown. I hear ok and then she disappears for 5 min or so to say I don’t have that order do you have a receipt? Yes but what I don’t have is 30 min to deal with this while on my way to work. So I left and notice my sand which is not a McGriddle that was repeated back twice it’s a McMuffin. So the whole order is wrong the only thing she could’ve went off was there is one order that just came through with an extra hashbrown and a Dr Pepper and knew the whole thing was wrong instead let’s just act like you’re trying to get a free hasbrown 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️And here’s a receipt for the extra hasbrown I didn’t receive and the wrong order which was repeated...
Read moreWhat the!? Whyyyyyyyyy would u not tell people that u aren't processing door dash orders? Why would u let people tell u that they are picking up for doordash and u tell them to proceed to the second window. U get to the second window and now all of a sudden they aren't doing the orders! After waiting for 6 cars to be serviced. When asked to please notify the the person taking orders they just look at u. Are they really not getting the orders or do they just not want to do the work? I called twice and got no answer, doordash also called and got NO answer. I called again. And asked if they could let the order taker know that they aren't fulfilling door dash orders and they got smart with me told me that they told all of the drivers ( they didn't, they didn't tell us or the cars behind us and we are still in the parking lot trying to sort it out). Then they hung up on me. That NOT how u treat customers of any sort. It's sad because this is not the first negative experience with this location m before I just chalked it up to them having a bad day. Now I'm seeing that it is a...
