The food was excellent but the customer service from the time my party and I walked in was horrible! The hostess' unsmiling face and standoffish deamenor immediately made me feel unwelcome. Myself and another member of our party asked if other parties had arrived, to which the response was "we don't take names. Yet immediately after we sat down a Caucasian couple walked in to ask if their party had arrived, they gave the name of the party and immediately were taken to their table. The remaining members of our party arrived and there were several empty booths but we were advised that we could have a seat at the bar. We noticed there were open tables on the terrace and asked if we could take those seats since there were a couple of people in our party with disabilities that made it hard to sit at the bar. We were told the tables would be cleaned and ready In 5 minutes. Some of us sat at the bar for several more minutes, until myself and the birthday girl, politely asked the hostesses when the tables would be cleared. The hostess (still unsmiling and with a horrible attitude) replied that it would be ready in a few minutes. It was not until we decided to go to the patio area,, thst they tables were finally wiped off. Also while sitting at the bar, we saw numerous large parties come in and were seated with no issues. Once seated, we had to approach the bartender instead of our drink orders taken at the table to get a drink. It took another 30 minutes before our food arrived at our table. That was my first and last time eating at 54th Street Bar and Grill in Lee Summit, even those the food was delicious but the customer service was absolutely horrendous!!! You need to teach your hostesses and bartenders customer service 101!!! In closing, I will say the bartender who greeted is at the main bar was...
Read moreLet me tell you a tale. A tale of food, laughter, and one slightly inebriated mother who introduced us to a restaurant that changed our livesâand its name, apparently. It all started one evening when my mom, with a wine glass in one hand and a sparkle of mischief in her eye, leaned in close and said, âI found this amazing new restaurant. Itâs called... The Haberdashery.â Naturally, I expected top hats, monocles, maybe a roast pheasant served by a man named Reginald. What we found instead was 54th Street Bar & Grillâwhich, spoiler alert, is not a fancy menâs accessory boutique. But it is a place where dreams are deep-fried, burgers are stacked like Jenga towers of joy, and the queso flows like itâs blessed by cheese angels themselves. The food? Legendary. Iâm talking burgers so juicy they deserve their own zip code, nachos engineered by snack architects, and a honey mustard so good it made me rethink my entire stance on condiments. Everything was hot, fresh, and plated like they knew Instagram was watching. The place? Clean. Like, suspiciously clean. Iâm talking âdid Martha Stewart open a cleaning franchise?â clean. You could eat off the floorâbut donât. There are actual tables, and people might stare. The servers? Fun. One of them told me I looked like I âknew how to order an appetizer,â and Iâve never felt more seen. Theyâre the kind of folks who remember your drink, your name, and maybe your zodiac sign depending on the margarita count. And my mom? She still calls it The Haberdashery. Every. Single. Time. We donât correct her. We just buckle up, order some Gringo Dip, and raise a glass to the finest damn "Haberdashery" in town. Five stars. Would follow my mom into any dining...
Read moreCame here tonight at 10:15pm me my daughter and best friend. Remind you we come here all the time we ordered two items off the happy hour menu the waitress tells us we can only order one unless we purchase another 3 dollar drink, I then asked when did they start doing that she stated sheâs been here a year and I told her I come all the time and I have never heard of that being a thing. She asked if I wanted to speak with a manager I told her yes she goes and gets Jacob firstly he had a very nonchalant attitude and told me maybe it was a mistake, I stated all the time itâs a mistake I doubt it! So I was going to let it go and just order what I usually get and ask I started drinking my FROZEN margarita it was runny like water, the waitress told me since itâs towards the end of the night thatâs how it comes out. AGAIN this is the same time I come every time and I have never experienced a watery margarita, so Jacob comes back to the table after I had asked for corporate number I showed him with my straw how running it was he looked at me and kinda gave me a smirk and said thatâs how it is and walks off! Jacob has No Management skills what so ever and very unprofessional!! I have never experienced bad service here ever until tonight and itâs really kinda disappointing being that other 54th St. are miles away! I will not be returning, not that they care!! I will be making a corporate complaint...
