Scammer Alert ⚠️ 📢 🚨 Came around just looking to grab some quick street tacos. Ended up ordering 5 street tacos and, despite my better judgment, got some birria tacos too. I stopped coming here a year ago because the quality of the birria had gone downhill, but figured I’d give it another try. The guy rings me up and gives me a total that felt *way* too high, but I didn't question it right away. I drive off with my food, only to realize—no dipping sauce for the birria. I *specifically* asked about sauce and he said yes, but now he’s telling me it costs extra? Fine, I ask to see what I was even charged for. Turns out they rang up 4 tacos and added a separate taco to make 5, instead of using the 5 taco combo that's listed clearly on their menu for $12.50. They charged me $15 instead. Charged for extra cheese but give you the smallest amount. When I pointed this out, the lady claimed *"we have to do it that way because it’s not in the register."* Huh? You mean to tell me your own advertised menu pricing doesn’t match what you’re actually charging? She starts running around with the menu in hand trying to justify it until I said I’d call the Attorney General for deceptive pricing. Suddenly, she takes my receipt (which they *never* offer unless you ask), and hands me a sauce—but not even the right one for birria. Bottom line: they overcharge, avoid giving receipts, serve low-quality and possibly old food, and their pricing is all over the place. Not worth your time or money. They make sure to squeeze every penny out of you, even if it means skimming or cutting corners. Old Message I've been to this restaurant several times before, and it used to be quite good. However, on my recent visits, I was disappointed to find that the birria tacos lesser quality and the sauce seemed watered down. It feels like they may have switched cooks or become complacent in their standards. Despite being busy, customers shouldn't have to lose out on quality for their hard-earned money. When I called to address my concerns, the person I spoke with simply thanked me for letting them know. Initially, I was going to write it off as a loss, but when I mentioned it to a family member, they had experienced the same decline in quality. If the restaurant is going to serve food that's not up to standard , they should at least take responsibility and replace customers' orders when they are caught up. I order 4 birria tacos combo and 2 drinks very disappointed.

Prices Can Change Mon Nov. 20th 2023. I've been grubbing here awhile and slide in and grab something different every time and it's all amazing. 🌮 🔔 is the only other option and there is no comparison unless you using the dollar menu. Portions here are huge and good food 😋. Totally impressed by the quality and quantity. My first time thru I was not paying attention and it was cheaper than the 🔔 and I had 3 meals for 3 people on one order. Chimi is awesome, tacos deep fried 🔥, and Burrito 🌯 are huge and on point. Just a gem 💎. Definitely a keeper. It's not only a place in town but with these hours and a drive-thru it's hard to argue with it Unless you plan on drinking. Stop at the liquor store and Mexican night 🌙at home less work and easy clean up. One bean and cheese Burrito will feed more than one kid unless they set the plow deep. Definitely a great find. Please go and try the food and enjoy the food If it ever goes to normal again (post Covid-19) most locations are 24hrs. That's a full bell. Right outside 3rd St. No flying to get food before close. Thank you for investing in my community 🙏 ❤️.

We tried this for the first time (in the old Sonic on 3rd St Downtown Lee's Summit) and will definitely go back! I knew this was a regional chain but am always interested in new places; this did not disappoint! We ordered the Arizona burrito (wife and I split), chips and queso, a chicken tamale, side of rice, cheese quesadilla kids meal, and a cheesecake chimichanga. Pros: Burrito is enough to split, at least to me, unless you're really hungry or want leftovers. Queso has a small kick but is tasty with good consistency Kids meal is affordable, comes with side and Capri sun Pepsi products (pro for me anyway lol) Menu variety, tostadas, tortas, burritos, quesadillas, etc. Cheesecake chimichanga was good, too! They also offer breakfast!! Con: Burrito entrees don't come with rice or beans, have to be ordered a la carte. Drive thru was a little long but that's expected when waiting for fresh food. You can also order inside.

I’ve had this restaurant before in Kansas it’s good I think they may just be super busy maybe new people like the food wasn’t bad but it wasn’t nearly as good as the location in Kansas, I’ll come back once they’ve been open for longer and it calms down a bit as of right now the food is okay I had the queso Birria tacos they used so much meat it needed two corn tortillas so I like my grilled/fried with the proper amount of cheese because I’m not a fan of corn tortillas that’s kind of the whole purpose of a quesobirria tacos just a lot of flavor and the cheese. It was soggy and just too much sometimes less is more! My friend had a burrito it was okay usually their stuff is packed with flavor and seasoning. They just need time and to stick to the recipe bc I was kinda disappointed I love this place over all the Mexican restaurants in Kansas City or Kansas besides maybe a few places.I give it a 4 because it’s still not the worst I just know they could be better! Idk maybe they just aren’t like the other locations, I went back to try again, it’s still not good so I’m going to have to knock them down to a 2… wishing them the best as they continue to...
