Went there Sunday night at 7:30 been there four times before. It was not busy at all it was my daughter my best friend and I. I ordered a medium vanilla concrete with toffee and caramel, my best friend ordered a concrete with mixed fruit and almonds a small, and my daughter had a vanilla jackhammer with cheesecake and caramel she had a medium. We live within walking distance but we drove because it was dark. So we got home within minutes after ordering took our things out of the bag and we're very disappointed. Was there something wrong with the custard machine that night that people should have been told about? Not any one of the three where Jack hammers or concretes. None of them were made correctly. All three of them were shakes!!! And I'm giving it credit by saying a shake cuz they were melted it wasn't even ice cream consistency. My daughter put hers back in the freezer. My friend and I drank ours didn't even need a straw. I must say this is the worst experience I've had there, the gentleman outside taking the order didn't smile acted like he didn't want to be there at all. But to spend $27.60 on three shakes is a ripoff!!! Also another disappointment was my daughter and I ordered mediums and my best friend ordered a small when we had the cups sitting together on the counter we all three got Smalls but my daughter and I paid for medium size. I can understand leaving a little room to put a lid on the top but leaving 2 almost three inches and putting a small into a medium cup is just plain out crooked! This is the second time getting shorted of an amount when we paid for it. So needless to say Dairy Queen starting to look pretty good at this point won't be going back to Andy's. Read moreThe last several times we have gone to Andy's in Lee's Summit, MO we have gotten really inconsistent service. They seldom get the orders right the first time, and I've often found that I'll be charged different amounts even if my order is the same as the time before. Usually I catch it, but if I'm in a rush I sometimes miss it.
Tonight for example, we ordered a small vanilla cup, two large vanilla cups, a small butterfinger concrete, a quart of the black raspberry chocolate chunk, and 2 pup cups for my dogs.
I told the person at the window that all of them had a gluten intolerance.
When she told the person making them that there was a gluten allergy, I could here him groan and complain about it. She told him to not worry, they were just ice cream.
Then she handed me a Pint of raspberry chocolate chunk. I reminded her I had ordered (and I assume paid for) a quarter. She then told me they were out of quarts, but she at least gave me a second pint.
NOTE: This is not the first time that I paid for a quart, but got a pint. The time before I didn't notice until I got home, but I assumed I must have only paid for a pint until I saw my card statement later.
Then, when I got home tonight, I found I had 3 pup cups (not two), and two small cups. The only thing they got right was my Mom's concrete.
I immediately called the store to let them know. No one answered even though they were still open for another 30 minutes. I left them a message, and asked them to call me back.
I haven't heard back from anyone.
This is unacceptable. I was trying to handle directly, but I guess...

I had ordered a choco express shake, well there was no coffee or caramel... guess I waited half an hour to have a chocolate milk shake instead. I moved my 3 star to a 2 star. Only reason it's not a 1 is due to past service
Giving a 3 because past service was good and served with a smile. But tonight was horrible. The staff was serving orders way out of order I waited over 30 minutes from when my order was taken and 8 to 10 people received orders before me. But luckily I wasn't on the worst receiving end. There was a older couple and a group of young teenagers that were waiting when I pulled up, I knew they were waiting at least 40 minutes no telling how much longer. When I finally got my order not so much as a sorry about your wait, or a please excuse us. Just a here you go. Hopefully the issue...
