Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

We were unsure about another Ice Cream shop coming to Lee’s Summit. But we are beyond happy to have Bruster’s now that we have tried their ice cream. Our new favorite ice cream shop!! We first visited on the night of Bruster’s grand opening, and have gone back several times since. The white truffle and the gooey butter cake ate our all time favorite flavors. But all the flavors are delicious- strawberry cheesecake with graham and chocolate raspberry are also to die for. The staff is very friendly, helpful and offer to give you a sample before you purchase a flavor. We have talked to who we believe is the owner and he was very appreciative for our business, welcoming and a friendly face to chat with while we waited for our ice cream to be served. Terrible service! My son said his Chocolate milk shake tasted like milk with no chocolate flavor, I tasted it and agreed with him. We told the staff, they offered to make another one. Staff laughed when we said it didn’t taste right. My son didn’t want to risk it and ordered a Nutter butter ice cream. Never heard of this place before it opened recently in Lee's Summit. I was impressed by the long list of flavors and toppings. I settled on Chocolate Raspberry Truffle and was blown away by how good it was. I wanted to order another flavor right away! But I drove home and resolved to return another day.
