If only these cheap employees could count and read beyond a first grade level, and if the staff and management actually checked in with them to see who they’re hiring before just throwing them into a restaurant job that requires dealing with numbers and basic reading skills. For the past five years, ever since they were bought out by Arby’s, their service has gone extremely downhill because of who they hire and their poor management. I’ve had orders comped for five years straight because they mess them up so badly. The wings are always cold, and in the past four months alone, they’ve miscounted my wings six times. Five times in the past year or so I have called them and told them can you double and triple check my order and please get it right I don’t want anyone to miscount my wings like they’ve done before I want my plasticware and I want the correct order each time they still messed it up and I was still short wings and no plasticware. My ranch has been miscounted and my order has been completely messed up five times Times and they still couldn’t get basic counting skills and basic reading skills down. They couldn’t even follow simple directions, and even double and triple check the work properly that is very concerning. That is terrifying. The service is awful, the restaurant is run down, and they hire staff who don’t know basic counting or reading skills. They brought my wings out without even telling me they were ready, and they were cold, like they had been sitting there forgotten. They also lie like children. I’ve told so many people to stop going to this location. They hire people who are not capable of working in a restaurant job. It’s concerning that they’re even behind stovetops and sharp kitchen items. I would be terrified for their safety, as they can’t read, count, or perform simple restaurant duties. Very concerning. They miscount my ranch every single time I’ve been there, and they also forget my plasticware every single time. I’ve completely given up on this location. Management and staff act like children. They can not count, they can not read it’s very obvious. It is so concerning. They are “grown” adults who can not carry out basic restaurant skills and duties. Let alone reading screens and counting wings, or orders to carry out to a table. Basic math and basic skills they never learned apparently. But they are just hired on and do a horrible job. So concerning they work in a kitchen with all that equipment. Can they even handle a cutting knife? Can they handle a stovetop or an oven properly? Can the servers know how to do things right? Every single server I have had, I told my people, they should not be a server they should be a door greeter at Walmart. They are that incapable of being a server and customer service. This location has gone so far down...
Read moreThis was hands down the strangest experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My wife and I walk in at around 7:30 on a Thursday evening. The entry way is packed full of people but no staff at either the host stand or the take out counter. After a minute or two, I ask some of the people standing there if they’re in line to be seated but they were instead waiting on their carry-out orders and had been for 30 minutes. One of them said he overheard the host mentioning a 45 minute wait to the folks in front of us. I looked over at the dining room and there were four tables of people and two people at the bar. It was virtually empty. By this time, the host showed up and we overheard him telling the people in front of us that the wait was a long one. I then approached the host and let him know we were only having drinks and asked if we could sit at the bar. He slowly looked over at the bar, then looks back down at his piece of paper. Pauses. Looks back at the empty bar, then slowly back at his piece of paper. Pausing each time for an awkwardly long time in silence. Finally a word:
“You’re not getting food?” “Nope, just drinks” Long pause… “Just stand at the bar?” “Yep” Long pause… “Ok as long as you’re not eating”
We then had a seat at the bar and I must say the service we experienced from the bartender was perfectly fine. However it was funny listening to people talk amongst themselves at just how odd the whole situation was, as they too dealt with the bizarre behavior of the host. The people who came to the bar after us must have taken the host’s words literally because they refused to sit on the many empty bar stools and just stood there and had their drinks. After about an hour they went back up to the host stand, presumably to ask if they could sit now and then came back to finally sit on the bar stools.
So strangely bizarre that I thought this had to be some sort of candid camera show. In reality, my best guess is the kitchen was slammed with takeout orders and had instructed the timid host to not seat anyone. If that’s the case, here’s a tip: let your guests know your kitchen is swamped with take out orders but seat them in your empty restaurant and let them order drinks while they wait.
I’m guessing this location won’t be open for...
Read moreI have been trying to contact someone and am going to leave this complaint on here: I have been to several Buffalo Wild Wings locations- from Joplin Mo, Springfield, Arkansas, North Kansas City, and Lees Summit. My fiance and I were at lunch today, and 3 arab guys sat at a table beside us. Now, I have brought food in for my children before and no one has ever told me I was not allowed to, or been asked to stop eating. With that said, 1 of the arabs brought in Wendys- now he could of had lots of reasons as to why he brought it, food allergy, couldn't afford BWW's but wanted to hang out with his friends etc...A manager, younger white male, with an incredibly wrinkled shirt, horrible customer service, walked up to the young man and asked him to put his food away. His 2 friends had ordered food and were paying customers but he was asked to put his food away. I politely asked the manager, where is your sign? Gas stations say no shirt no service, so where is BWW's sign on the door, wall, anywhere saying this gentleman could not eat his lunch. I don't generally do this, and I work in customer service and understand that bad reviews are no fun. But where is your customer service? The manager had no words for me except, "we have no signs, it's just our policy". I said so then he can eat, and the manager walked away. He didn't apologize to the young man, he didn't say a word to him. Was him eating Wendy's really that hurtful to you? My goal here is not to slam this location, as I have been here before and had a wonderful experience- but to deny him from eating his Wendy's for absolutely no reason, to me shows the lack of care this manager had towards his customers. I was incredibly offended for the men- please keep in mind all 3 men were incredibly polite and didn't say a word, just did as they were told. If you are going to have a policy like this, GET SIGNS UP! I have been to several restaurants that allow you to bring in other foods, and I most definitely have never seen anyone tell a customer to stop eating when they clearly have paying customers sitting...
