First of all our Whoppers were perfectly cooked and put together. Had an absolutely great experience. When my sister and I decided on Burger King I didnt think it would be such a long journey but we're so glad it turned out this way. We started in Independence near the 2 that recently closed, went to the one on Noland to be told their system is down in the middle of the evening for 15 minutes plus, there were two cars in front of me so this happened right as I pulled up to the speaker. So left there and bypass the one at the West end of 23rd Street because it's always a bad experience, went to the 291 and 23rd Street location to be greeted by a dark parking lot and drive-thru maze with a dark menu and no one coming to the speaker, they were definitely open and had two people inside but they seem to be completely aloof. So instead of waiting any longer we left and went straight to this one that we knew had a good reputation in the past. At the speaker I was going to do two separate orders to accommodate extra coupons and to avoid the issue I've had at others with multiple coupons and save everyone frustration of telling me no and changing things up lol. Instead the guy at the speaker suggested that I could put them all in one order if I wanted, which was awesome, I couldn't have been happier at that point. Coupons are important to me and sometimes you need more than 1 sometimes to be able to afford food and its super cool when places let you do this. Ordering process was simple and not rushed and comfortable, at the window we waited a few minutes for fresh food and we were not disappointed. The potato sticks (fries) were perfect, literally couldn't have been better. The Whoppers were so good and put together well it was like the person that made them was going to eat it themselves. I couldn't picture a better Whopper to be honest. Portioned perfectly, the meat and cheese lined up which is not common. I'm not usually that picky if a person and I don't look for the perfect sandwich, I'm fine as long as my sandwich is at least somewhat stacked up and has at least what it's supposed to on it so I can rearrange, but this was magical!! Lol . The pictures do not do it justice of course but I tried to...
Read moreWhoever it was taking orders around 5pm, Friday, August 8th is the absolute worst employee I've ever had to deal with. So bad in fact that my fiance and I decided we did not even trust their facility to handle food of ours, in fact, we will never allow that location to handle our food at risk of them tampering with it and harming us. We first pulled up to the drive thru with a simple question (I suppose asking questions is prohibited at this location) as the employee got angry almost immediately. Out of confusion of the gibberish their angry throat was spewing we decided to go inside the building for further inquiry. We obviously were met with the same individual inside as they quickly changed their angry speaking to talking down on us as if we were children and refused to give any meaningful information for our very simple questions regarding the food and promotions their establishment provided. This lady was so far beyond under qualified for their position it was astonishing as I had figured anyone could do their job. But just the same they decided to treat my fiancé and myself as second class citizens and refuse to help until eventually we decided to just walk out the door. I guess our money and we are not good enough for this establishment and questions are very clearly not allowed. I will heavily recommend that NO ONE should EVER go to this establishment for food or nourishment of any sort. I am truly fearful that anyone that gets that aggressive over very simple questions would tamper with food in a heartbeat without a single second thought. I truly have always loved burger king but I can not stand for something like this. This was a terrible and disgusting portion of my day and all over simply asking a question to get a better understanding. Just a shame that a company would allow someone like that to serve people. I really hope no one gets hurt...
Read moreI went to this location and will never return. There is always something wrong with my order when I go here. Before I go any further let's just say I'm not a fan of Burger King. My wife and mother in law however enjoy Burger King. So I go for them frequently. When I arrived at the drive thru I had to wait not a problem in my book. Only one car, still took the person on the other end forever to understand the lady in front of me. Still not a problem it's a drive thru. When I got to the speaker I was asked to wait still not a problem. Mind you I do have my two year old in back of my car. When the guy finally started to take my order it was " Is that all " after everything I ordered to the point where I just said yeah when I wasn't even done ordering, still ok got the wife, daughter and mother their food and one Rodeo Cheese Burger. Which when at the speaker the guy repeated part of my order he repeated " Rodeo CHEESE Burger ". Needless to say my wife got a Rodeo cheese Burger too. Both never received cheese, which I found out once dropping my wife her food at work and came home. So I called Burger King to tell the people they messed my order up, this is a usual occurrence. When I called I was told there is not a Rodeo Cheese Burger on the menu, only a Rodeo Burger. The thing was the guy never even gave me a receipt, so I had to goggle the damn number to even call him which was not happy about that's like the number one thing. Anyways I couldn't keep my cool any longer so I told the guy my story just like this and hung up on him. I don't want free food or anything just that going to Burger King shouldn't be a pain in the ace to go to. Be warned get a receipt, check your food to the core before leaving, and have more patience for the adult idiots running the place...
