Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

I really love this place and the people here are friendly and approachable, until the manager CHRISTINA came, that woman who has poorest customers service I’ve encountered! As I don’t want to share my number for points. I have the app for them to scan and as I used to pay! As I drive to window she told me “hey we are doing new process we are getting numbers to make the service faster” Woman, first and foremost you don’t call me “hey” and the service become slower we have to wait for approximately 5 minutes for two drinks! my partner and I never had an issues with our drink before! since you came our drink got mess up! As simple as bravé you mess it up! Doesn’t say thank you at all and rolled your eyes on me! Very rude for a manager! I never had manager suggested me call the customer service for my points coz u don’t want to scan my app. It’s saddening because they have nice people on that coffee shop. Since we ordered from her our drinks didn’t taste right. Sucks she works in customer service....

The staff here is amazing! I usually go through their drive-thru and the only problems I come across with is their system going down. This Caribou seems to have some bad luck with their power. Their POS system has been down numerous times in the past months. While it's down, I am not able to pay or redeem anything from the app. I hope their corporate figures it out soon, I feel bad for their employees to have to go through so much for a coffee shop.

I have lived in this area for the last 10 years and love it. I have frequently gone and studied here throughout my education journey and never had an issue with the timing or the coffee until this morning. My husband and I had to wait more than 20 minutes for our two drinks had zero thoughtfulness from the cashier who took our card no apology, no hello no greeting whatsoever and even more they didn’t know what our order was which was very frustrating. additionally the latte milk was burnt and the coffee was very watery.
