CAVA — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

I went in tonight to get dinner and there were 2 people in the line. When it was my family's turn they took 2 of our 3 orders and then started to make online orders instead of taking my order. The worker proceeded to then complete 10 different order tickets before taking my order. My family was waiting at the cash register while I waited at the front of the line for these 10 orders to be completed. The worker didn't even acknowledge me or explain what was happening or even apologize for the extended waiting time he placed on my family getting dinner. Very dissapointed in my experience here. Because of these multiple online orders a line then developed behind me of people glaring in my direction which just made the whole situation uncomfortable. If you think about coming here just don't do it during dinner... or you'll be placed on the bottom priority with online orders being the top. They should have had multiple people designated for online and in store orders because this experience is...

I order the build your own grain bowl with Saffron rice, which they gave me white rice instead. So I'm thinking maybe it wasn't gluten free. The ingredient list was too long and small to see well on my phone, but it's good to know their employees know how to prepare gluten free meals. The pickles were really good. I don't know if the Roasted Vegetables are supposed to be hot or cold. Mine were cold, but everything tasted good. I didn't realize the hummus was buried on the bottom of the bowl, so I at first thought they forgot to give me it until my mom told me it was in the bowl. For future orders it would be helpful if the tahini or other dips/sauces were labeled with initials because we had meals for 3 people, and we all ordered different tahini sauce. With me needing the dairy free one and it was a little difficult to tell which one was the Lemon Tahini or the Crazy Feta. I would definitely eat here again if I'm in the area and need...

Ordered pick up online. I showed up at the time it was supposed to be ready and went to the designated area that said “pick up” but there was nothing there. I waited for a bit then went to the cashier and they told me my order would be ready in a bit. I continued to wait and no one ever placed anything in the pickup area and people were coming in and going directly to the cashier and getting their food. I figured if they weren’t going to place pickup orders where they’re supposed to go that they’d at least call my name. I finally went up again and they gave me my food, no idea how long it had been sitting there but when I got in my car I took a bite and it was cold. I got a bowl and it was only filled up about half way, I was too tired to go back and ask for them to remake it considering what was supposed to be a quick process turned into a 30 minute ordeal.
