Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Lee's Summit

Normally, I like Chili's. Their menu is consistent at most locations, their staff are usually really great, but something is wrong with this location.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon. We beat the majority of the lunch crowd and we were one of maybe 6 tables seated in the restaurant. The hostess seated us and told us that our waitress would be right over. We noticed quite a few employees hanging out near the kitchen entrance and in the bar rather than attending to their guests. At first it wasn't that big of a deal because we were all still getting situated with our seats and beginning to look at the menu.

However, after 15 minutes, we still had not had a waitress come and take our drink order. We finally flagged down the hostess and asked for someone to take our drink order and after another 5 minutes our waitress finally arrived. She took our drink and food orders. We received our drinks quickly, but the same couldn't be further from the truth with our food.

Waiting on our food, the waitress didn't stop by a single time to refill our drinks. I even asked her to refill my drink and she said that she would be right over. After 5 minutes I got up and refilled my own drink. She then came over and gave me attitude stating "I was going to refill that" and I responded with "when were you planning on doing that because we've not seen you at our table a single time". She sighed loudly and walked back to the kitchen.

I ended up refilling my drink another time before the food arrived, and the waitress asked us if we needed anything else. I said a few things, and some others with me said a few things. We were promised that she would be right back with the items we requested, and she never came back. I ended up walking back to the kitchen to finally find a manager to come and help us out. The line cooks in the back were friendlier and more helpful than our waitress, which was pretty ridiculous.

Arrived at 8:51 pm on a Saturday. Seated promptly, waited 15 minutes once seated prior to a server greeting us. Ordered drinks and the app trio. Trio arrived after 20 minutes, and was incorrect. All 3 of us ordered the 3 for $10. We all had to ask for refills anytime our drinks were empty. Server would seem upset when we asked. Our food was brought out, with the incorrect sides. We still had not gotten the soup/salad app that comes with the meal deal. When we told her that side was incorrect, she took the plate back to the back and came out with the 2 salads and soup. The salad was soggy it had been sitting back there so long. When our food was brought out again, it was ice cold as well as the fries on one meal, second meal still has incorrect sides and we had to wait for that to be corrected. Third meal was correct. We mentioned to someone who ended up being the manger that the tenders were legit ice cold, like from the fridge cold, and all she said was “I’ll be back” then came back a few minutes later and said they’re being remade. At this point we’ve been here over an hour and still waiting on the sides for the other meal to come out, so my friend said no thank you we don’t have time to wait (going to the movies after this) and the manager said ok I’ll take it off the bill then immediately turned around and walked away shaking her head. Server couldn’t even properly print our tickets and separately charged me for the remade food she had to ring in for the incorrect app, and the salad that comes with my 3 for $10.

Service, speed, and attitudes even of the manager were completely underpar. I would not recommend coming to this location, and we will not be returning again. Totally...

Absolutely horrible. We went out to enjoy a quick dinner and have a margarita. As we stay down the waiter came over and asked for our drink order. We asked for two strawberry margaritas. About five minutes later he got us a cup of water. We ordered chips and salsa to start and ended up ordering 3 for $10. The chips and salsa was the appetizer for my meal. I ordered a coke as my drink. By the time we got our "strawberry margarita" our water cups were empty. As we tried our "margaritas" we noticed they were strawberry lemonades. Okay, no biggie. He brought out a second order of chips and salsa for my friends 3 for $10. Still no water refilled and no cokes for us. Then another waitress brought out my pasta dinner. About 5 or 10 minutes later my friends quesadilla came out and we were told "it was rang as a separate table." When her food came out we mentioned to her that our "margaritas" tasted like lemonade. She went to find out what happened. They were rung in as strawberry lemonades. They corrected the drink mistakes and we finally got our margaritas as we finished our meals. Not once has our water or coke been refilled. This waiter had one other table but his lack of desire to even be here was ridiculous. All while the manager sat at the table next to us talking to other employees. As the ticket came out it was completely wrong. He charged us for the lemonades, a order of chips, rang her quesadilla as a separate entree, and our cokes separate. This was such a horrible experience that I'm not sure we...
