The food is better than China 88 the other easy carry out Chinese restaurant in town. Food is always great and lot! They use their phone line for the Internet they said ?? so after not telling me anything on the phone, when I went in one time, she told me that I couldn’t pay with a debit card because I had a certain amount and the internet deal..? Made no sense. But I went in a different time and she got rude that I want to use a debit card for just one order again. So bring cash or don’t order just one item unless you want to get snipped at. They also told me 35 to 40 minutes just for this one dish today, seems like a long time for one thing and that she didn’t even ask my name and hung up. Ordered chicken and vegetables, and it came with this brown sauce… It was pretty bland, but it was all right… Last time it came with a nice pleasant white “clearishsauce”

If you're looking for a traditional divey strip mall date spot, this is your Chinese restaurant. It doesn't get more divey than this - with frosted bamboo stalk pattern windows, your traditional backlit plastic menu board, and little tiny red booths with glass koi fish dividers for extra privacy. I've done takeout from here mostly And see lots of Uber Eats come through Only one or two tables sat every time I've come in So it's definitely a quiet spot. They don't take AMEX, and they love cash. No bells or whistles, but the food is good. Nothing fancy all exactly made as you'd expect.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! I saw that a friend had eaten there and have been looking for good Chinese food in Lee’s Summit. This is good Chinese food. I dined in and enjoyed the very hot Crab Rangoon and amazing sweet n sour sauce. It was thick! Loved that it wasn’t runny. I ordered the Mongolian Pork, extra spicy with pork fried rice. Both were super hot and delicious. Very impressive! Loved the sauce and fresh veggies. The restaurant is clean and well run. I would totally return.

Over it. Food is decent to pretty good but the service for black men is terrible. I've been living in Lees Summit for a little over a year. I've been coming to this place maybe once or twice a month for the past year or so. I'm from Saint Louis.. a city that has Chinese restaurants on every other corner because we eat this kind of food often. I only kept coming here because of my Chinese food addiction and the fact this food is somewhat close to the Chinese food that I'm use to in Saint Louis.

But I will no longer support this business. At least every other time that I come here one of the women at the counter has an attitude with me. I've visited this store during lunch hour. I've seen how they treat other customers who are not black men. Today while walking to the counter, the counter person greeted me by saying "Yeah. What do you want." After I told her I have a carry out order, she tossed my bag on the counter. I asked the woman if she was having a bad day, what was the attitude for. She pretended to not here my question about her attitude.

I'm tired of the attitude that I get from some of the women at the counter at least 50% of the time that I come here. They have no respect for a segment of their customers. My wife and I will never...

If you’re trying to decide, Just come! It’s one of the best!!!!! #1 - fire 🔥(very good) fried rice, I believe it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. #2 - They have the original egg foo young sauce!!!! If your an egg foo young lover you know this is important. #3 - They have good crab rangoon! #4 - They value your service, I had a problem with my food today and they asked a few questions and replaced it with no problems. Those are the good things! One thing they could do better is customer service because they hate taking credit cards because the machine messes with their take out orders or something like that. So the lady is going to say “you don’t have no cash?” Each time but over all I’ll accept that as long as the food is good. I got my food to go each time but they have a small sitting section if you want to stay. I ordered shrimp fried rice (w/ extra shrimp), Shrimp egg foo young and 8 crab rangoons. Which was $30 & it was worth every Penny! Ps: they really gave me lots of shrimp, which I am definitely thankful for (picture attached) ** Trust me this is one of the best Chinese food restaurants around! You can...

First time ordering from China King. Reviews were good. I don't understand what happened. We ordered broccoli beef, egg foo young, house low mein, pork egg rolls, hot and sour soup, and won ton soup. This was the WORST Chinese food I've ever had! Not only were the portions SUPER SMALL, but the food was BLAND! I called and spoke with the owner who told me that their clientele liked BLAND food. Wow! Really? Then maybe you should mention that on your website? The Egg Foo Young was tasteless and the gravy they included with it was a brown gravy that was so salty it was just gross! The rest of it was the same. SUPER SMALL PORTIONS and very BLAND food. The owner tried to justify the small portions by saying they used over the top ingredients and said the broccoli beef had a pound of beef in it. NOT! The whole dish weighted only about 9 ounces and instead of just broccoli and beef they added carrots and other veggies to get away with using meat. DON'T go here unless you want to pay premium prices for sub par, super small portions. WORST Chinese food...
