Lots of kinks to work out, but it is 2 days after opening.
Walked in around 7 on Sunday. Not sure if it was really busy, or just clusters of families unsure of where to go. The store could absolutely benefit from an "order here" sign above the ice cream, and a small rope helping split the line (left side people in line to order, right side people who are actively having their ice cream made). I went to the spot to order and there were several employees standing there looking confused while a family was trying to sample all the flavors (small kids, I get it). The mom turned around and said I could go ahead, and I had to make eye contact with an employee to initiate the ordering process. Ordered a Medium/Love it, wove in and out of the other people in "line" to order, and waited over at the toppings station. Now this is where you lose those stars from me. The employee needs a lot more training on mixing the ice cream. I know it's more about strength than anything, but it's almost as if they were intentionally only mixing it in half, leaving the other half untouched. Maybe it was how they were holding the spatula things, but it was very difficult for them. Also, once they had it all shaped up into the ball to put into the cup there was still 3/4 of an Oreo and 1/2 of a peanut butter cup on the mixing area (which, I got 2 cookies and 2 cups, so that's quite a bit to not be mixed in). I asked if they could mix it in, they seemed a little annoyed but got it all mixed in. Again, that's a good chunk of toppings left off, I wasn't asking for crumbs to be mixed in, they were literal chunks. Got paid and sat at a table. Napkins were unfilled for a really long time, I'd suggest putting containers on the tables as well.
Overall the ice cream was fine, it was the sticky Coldstone consistency. Employees just need a bit more help with learning to mix things in and helping customers when there are so many of them and a long line. Please add napkin dispensers to the table, an "order here" sign above the ice cream, and a rope separator so people in line aren't crowded around the...
Read moreI thought this location closed at 10pm. I went last night and got there at 09:24pm. Taped over the hours on the outside of the store was a notebook piece of paper with revised hours written in sharpie. I saw that the closing time was changed to 09:30 on that paper. Even though I originally thought that 10pm was closing time, I still went inside because there were 5 min until the revised closing time. The guy behind the counter told me they were closed, and I told him it was not 09:30 yet. Then, he told me I could get ice cream without toppings because all of the toppings were put away. I totally get not wanting to stay late, and I know that cleaning up early helps the closers, but the store was not closed yet, and I can't get toppings? It was bizzare that the employees seemed completely ready to go home, and the store was not supposed to be closed to the public yet. Like at that point..... they should have locked the doors early because they were closed during business hours. The whole thing was frustrating. I did not like feeling like I was inconveniencing someone for coming to their store when they were supposed to be open. The...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. Took my kids there for their first Coldstone experience. Sad to report we wonât be going back. When we arrived only two customers were in line in front of us. However, they appeared to know the young workers as they continued to talk to them for several minutes before even acknowledging we were there. We finally got to order without any real greeting or conversation. 3 female workers behind the counter then another male who wasnât in uniform being âtaughtâ by another worker how to make something.
When we were done ordering, loud conversation continued between the workers and their friends as we were being rung up. Those friends continued to then go behind the counter with the workers while we were still standing there trying to pay. We were overcharged for our kids ice cream on top of it all. Very...
