We tried this place for the first time on Father’s Day and had a very disappointing visit. I had made a reservation and the host was very confused when I told him this upon arrival (I later received a notification that my reservation had been cancelled, so I guess I was never checked in). We were told when our server first came by (about 20 minutes after sitting down, because she told us she wasn’t informed she had a table) that they were out of grilled chicken, mushrooms, and salmon. She also asked if the person at the front told us there was about a 30-minute ticket time because they were currently behind. After about 30 minutes, we were able to order our food, and later our server came back and said 3 out of 4 of us would need to update our orders because they were out of pulled pork, brisket, ham, and mac & cheese. Basically they had burgers and some fried stuff. We had to remind our server about our appetizer that we had not received at around an hour into our visit. We received our food at an hour and 25 minutes, and it was mediocre. The Philly Tots appetizer was the best thing we had. Our burgers were very overdone, sweet potato fries were underdone, and onion rings were just okay. Our server was VERY nice and apologetic, and we felt really bad for her because the food and kitchen were out of her control. Noise level from the mini golf was very loud and there was always a traffic jam at the end of the course at the Plinko hole. I figured mini golf would be discounted if you bought a meal, but it was still $12/person no matter what. We didn’t end up golfing and based off this experience...
Read moreMy husband and I went here with a couple friends, we decided to eat before we went and played putt putt. At the beginning of our service it was great, waiter seemed very friendly, unfortunately when it came time for us to pay, the waiter didn’t bring us a receipt nor told us our total when paying with cash. The waiter brought us change(my husband gave $100 bill, and got $40 in change) the waiter still never brought a receipt, my husband said how much was the total, waiter replied $40, which means we should’ve gotten $60 back. The waiter got annoyed and acted real suspicious when we asked him about it, he even huffed like we were the ones in the wrong. He finally brought us a receipt after asking again, and said “we actually round up here’s your total was actually $41” the proper total on the receipt was $40.54, still meaning he gave the wrong change! He continued to roll his eyes and got annoyed when called out for being rude. He never gave us his name or I would call the manager. We left and never ended up getting to golf because we were afraid of having more money taken without our knowledge! I truly hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else, but hopefully this place...
Read moreWe hosted my husband’s 40th birthday party in the Caddy Corner event space at Craft Putt. Joey, the general manager, was very responsive from the get go in getting everything planned. We arrived the day of the event and the room and food were ready as requested. We met our waitress, Sydney, and the chef. They immediately went over everything with us and made sure we had everything we needed. Sydney greeted our guests as soon as they arrived and took their drink orders while staying on top of replenishing drinks all night. Our guests repeatedly complimented the food. The chef didn’t let the food run out and stayed on top of keeping the taco bar full. I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff. This place is newer to Lee’s Summit, but word is spreading fast about how great it is. As nice as the space is, the staff are what is making this a place...
